• It is composed of 3 types of bridges, cable stayed bridge, approach bridge
and viaduct with precast prestressed concrete box girder decks. • The box girder normally comprises prestressed concrete, structural steel, or a composite of steel and reinforced concrete. • The FSLM (Full Span Launching Method) 1is being successfully applied to the viaducts of the Incheon Bridge. This method made it possible to construct the long marine viaducts over 8 kilometers. • Each 50 m-long concrete box girder is fabricated using steam-curing system and pre-tension method. • To withstand earthquakes and storms, it is designed to be safe in a 72m/s wind or a 7.0 Richter Scale earthquake.
