"Teachers Are Leaving and Few People Want to Join the Field. Experts Are Sounding the
Alarm."

In the article,"Teachers Are Leaving and Few People Want to Join the Field.Experts Are
Sounding the Alarm," the author talks about the multiple struggles, stresses, and cost of being an
educator in the last few years. After reading this article, I have my own thoughts, and opinions.

For instance, the teacher shortage is a very understandable, yet problematic scenario. According
to the text," Fears of catching Covid-19, and enforcing pandemic protocols are additions to the
long list of challenges teachers - from low pay and often little regard from their communities to
growing numbers of school shooting and legislative requirements about what and how to teach,"
In my opinion there's a lot of things I don't quite understand cause I'm not a teacher, or a
legislature on the board. I do believe that teachers are vast with so much disrespect, so much
fear, not enough safety, and the low pay of about $65,000 with the fees of school supplies, and
home substances. These are just a few thoughts that I can comprehend why we have a teacher
deceleration population.

Personally, after reading the passage I wouldn't consider being a teacher. I have better
expectations of myself, not that being a teacher isn't important,or bad. It's just as a female
teenager in today's world, I want more of it,Iw want experience,I want wealth, and I want
opportunity for everything the world has to offer. The text states,"The financial cost, but also the
emotional cost of having to constantly battle and fight for our youth, for our children can be
exhausting." From this I see self-harm, and not a very healthy futuristic lifestyle for me.

After considering the certain circumstances behind being a teacher there are many difficulties
and struggles when aspiring to become a teacher. Therefore people can choose whether or
whether not to be in the field of education
