1- What is mean by AR?

AR is function inside the relay panel and use CB in the station to work.
2- Why we need it?
Need for reliability in the system and its opening and closing by using 86 relay self-rest.
3-What is principle of work?
When a fault occurs in the line they will work. (AR have one shout)

We have dead time which will take 5s in override or 10s in sync and reclama time will take 15s. When
the AR is working the 86SR will operate to reclose the CB. NOW if any fault happens in the reclama time
the relay will block 86 SR and will operate the 86 HR to not reclose the CB again in the fault. Because
that means the fault is still in the line in other words if the fault comes in the reclama time that means the
fault is not temporary which means a permanent fault.
Thar are 4 function will operate the AR:
1. Zone 1.
2. Aided Distance.
3. Aided DEF (Directional Earth Fault).
4. Line Differential.
We know if AR is work then 86 SR will work by reclosing itself. My point is the function that will
operate the AR are also will operate the 86 Self Rest relay.
