Our Week 1 will be designated for re-connecting and to
find some form of routine with this new process. We will
concentrate on recollecting where we left off with Quarter 3.
The English 2 Team has worked this past week to develop a
curriculum that will hopefully be manageable for all and will
be able to assist you with having success on your final exam
when the time comes. I want to reassure everyone that your
health and safety now are most important to me over any
worries regarding remote learning. Remember, you are able to
communicate with me if you have any questions, concerns, or
if you just need to talk.
I am curious to see how all of this plays out, and even more
eager to get back into the classroom and see you all. Be well,

Remote Learning - Week #1
Important
Details...
Here are the details that I want you to know about our remote
learning experience...
Attendance will be taken on Wednesday, April 8th and
Friday, April 10th.
I will look for your interaction with the Peardeck activities to
determine attendance.
After Week 1, attendance will be taken on Fridays.
All activities will be published to Google Classroom on
Monday mornings. Due dates for completion of the
activities will be Thursdays by 11:59pm.
I will have Office Hours throughout the week. You may use
this link <HERE> to schedule a meeting with me. Zoom chat
will be the method used in the event that we need to meet.
Do not hesitate to tell me if you have an issue with your
chromebook or other necessary school materials.
We will have SSR Reading this quarter. If you do not have a
book to read, there are several online options that I will
share on Google Classroom.
It will be necessary for all of you to try and establish a routine.
Our online learning will be self-paced, and so it is important
that you establish a routine that will allow you time to
accomplish your needs and self-care, yet still provide you time
to work on the activities.
I would also encourage you to set up an online study area to
allow you the space and freedom to work without distraction.
Remember, no one is an island...we are all working through this
together.
