Empowering Kids to Prevent Child Abuse & Neglect

The Family Place, in partnership with Prevent Child Abuse Utah, is pleased to offer your child
the opportunity to participate in Kid’s Empowered, an abuse prevention program that teaches
children special skills to stay safe in an increasingly violent world. This educational program leaves
children feeling empowered and informed!

Kid’s Empowered Teaches:

It’s my body! I have the right to keep it safe
No one has the right to hurt or harm a child

• Certain parts of the body are private

There are safe and unsafe touches
Bad secrets are secrets that should never be
kept

• Abuse is NEVER the child’s fault!
