Answer the ff:
1. Prior to this lesson, what technology tools have you experienced using either as an
elementary/high school student or as a preservice teacher? Reflect on its
implications to you and your teachers’ knowledge in using technology tools.
 The technology tool that I have always been using is the Microsoft Word. Microsoft
word is widely one of the most used technology tool even before and up until now.
MS Word has been very much useful for us students and also to our teachers. Through
MS Word, we can able to make our assignments or activities in an encoded form.
Teachers can use this tool in crafting a lesson plan, make test questionnaires, and even
utilize it for evaluation purposes. The MS Word tool has been very familiar to
everyone even elementary students, because this is the most commonly used tool or
application and it is very convenient and easy to use.

2. What is the helpful tool that you used? Why?

 The most helpful tool that I used is the Microsoft Word, especially during those times
of the surge of pandemic. Due to pandemic, we have learned to adapt a new
learning system wherein we used different platforms in order to make the teaching
and learning process continuosly possible. During those challenging times, most of
our assignments and activities are need to be encoded, and that, I always use the MS
Word to make my assignments done faster, easier, and more convenient. Many
knows it and they actually prefer to use it because it is very convenient and easy to
use. For me, MS Word has been really important, especially in part of my education,
because this is my most used application like whenever I'm making assignment,
activities, projects and much more.

 3. Choose one from the six characteristics of efficient and effective technology tools
and provide a sample situation for that characteristic in using a specific
instructional material.
 Among the six characteristics of efficient and effective technology tools, I chose
"Promote Active Learning". As a future teacher, we want to promote an active
learning environment within the classroom. Through the use of technological tools,
educators can create or develop an interactive instructional materials such as video
presentations, PowerPoint presentations, and other interactive materials or
methods which can ultimately help to catch the attention and interest of learners. By
this way, we can promote a dynamic discussion and an active learning within the
classroom.
