They obtained 10 household chemicals and collected 10 test tube then each was
labeled with the name of each chemical to be tested 10ml of each sample was placed
into their respective test tubes then
Cell, bulb and switch was joined with connecting wires as it was shown it the
diagram above, A crocodile clip was then used to connect the different materials
such as plastic, steel, copper etc in the gap to complete the circuit after that
observation was recorded of what happened as the materials were placed in the
circuit when switch is opened and closed and results was recorded in a table.
Heat Source was set-up with wire gauze before placing beaker half-filled with
water, leaf was then placed in boiling water for three (3) minutes so it could
softened after that leaf was removed from water and was placed in a boiling tube
with 20ml of alcohol for 15 minutes. The decolorized leaf was carefully removed and
gently washed with water. Leaf was then spread on a flat surface and 3-5 drops of
iodine solution was added on the decolorized leaf.
