During photosynthesis, chlorophyll absorbs energy from blue

and red-light waves and reflects green light waves, making

plants appear green. There are many steps behind the process
of photosynthesis, but there are mainly two stages can be
divided into Light-dependent and light-independent reactions.
Photosynthesis converts light energy into chemical energy,
which is stored in glucose, and cellular respiration releases
energy from glucose to build ATP, which powers life. In
addition, the photosynthetic reactants CO2 and H2O are
products of cellular respiration.
