Auxiliary Steam System Steam Blow Agreament

Below are the preparation steps of Steam Blow that have been approved by all concerned
Parties PGESCo, CP-118, CP-105 and CP-106:

1- CP-118 to cut the 12” cap at the bottom of drip leg at the end of auxiliary steam
header line (09-SA-L168-C3D-300mm), and to install a 10-inch temporary pipe
which shall be routed to south side of STG building on Mezzanine floor.
2- CP-118 to provide and install a 10-inch gate valve with 1-inch bypass valve (for
warming).
3- CP-118 to provide and install a 1-inch drain valve at the end of the 10-inch
temporary line, the 1-inch line to be routed to the temporary condensate tank
south of STG building.
4- CP-105 to supply the material of temporary piping that CP-118 will install on the
hot reheat system – 5 drain points 2-inch diameter connected to one 3-inch
diameter header that shall be routed to the temporary condensate tank south of
STG building.
5- CP-118 to provide a temporary condensate tank and to be located south of STG
building nearby chemical cleaning area of MISCO.
6- CP-118 to connect and install a temporary piping from (TP SA 002) on the line (09-
SA-L-014-C3D-150mm) (HP Turbine warming steam system) to Steam Leak off line
(F-7) Dwng (1007-90V06-MUSG-00044).
7- CP-106 to cut Steam leak off line at the most suitable joint then CP-118 to fit up the
temporary pipe and CP-106 to weld the joint.
8- CP-106 to weld the terminal point (TP AF 015) permanently (P&ID: 09-M6-AF-
00003). (leak off steam to -Extraction to Dearator).
9- CP-118 to weld the terminal point (TP SA 007) permanently (P&ID: 09-M6-SA-
00002). (Steam from Auxiliary Header to Gland Sealing System).
10- CP-118 to weld the terminal point (TP SA 003) permanently (P&ID: 09-M6-SA-
00002). (Steam from CRH to Gland sealing System).
11- Cp-118 to connect and weld terminal point (TP SA 001) with CP-105 (steam to
Atomizing air system and steam coil air heater); CP-105 to disconnect their flanges
at end users with temporary piping if required.
12- CP-118 to re-rout the pigging steam to dearator by cutting and welding line no. (09-
AF-L182-C3D-750mm) (P&ID: 09-M6-AF-00005).
13- CP-118 to remove the internals of pigging control valve (PV-057) and install
through kit.
14- CP-118 to remove the hydro test kits and install the blow out kits for the valves:
(PV-005A, PV005B & PV005D) to let CP-105 to start steam blowing high pressure
side upstream the control valves.
15- CP-118 to install 1.5-inch temporary pipe on BFPT SEAL STEAM at zero level and to
be routed to temporary condensate tank south STG building.
16- CP-118 to re-rout the steam inlet piping to both reboilers, both lines (09-SB-L013-
C3D-150mm & 09-SB-L019-C3D-150mm) (P&ID: 09-M6-SB-00001) by cutting and
welding temporary piping and to be routed upwards.
17- Initial startup of Auxiliary Boiler to blow the line going to reboiler system through
the line (09-SB-L110-C3D-150mm) (P&ID: 09-M6-SA-00003).

Items that need more clarification and not verified yet:

1- The Aux steam header control valves (PV-005A, B & D) the blow out kits to be
removed and a through kits to be installed and let CP-105 blow the low pressure
side of control valves through the main Auxiliary header. We need to confirm that
the through kits already supplied or to be manufactured at local work shop.
2- PGESCo to organize and coordinate between CP-118 and CP-105 to blow the line
(09-SD-L020-C3D-400mm) Backup steam to BFPT, the part upstream the manual
valve (V034) (P&ID: 09-M6-SA-00001) by opening the valve and using Auxiliary
boiler or Main boiler, enough time in advance before installing the target plate by
CP-105.
