Overview
Configuring the HomeWorks® P5 processor to communicate over a network takes not only knowl-
edge of the HomeWorks system, but of networking as well. HomeWorks installers with limited net-
working knowledge are advised to contact a networking professional before attempting to connect
to HomeWorks processors via a network. This specification will help a HomeWorks installer commu-
nicate the P5 processor configurations to a network professional.

The HomeWorks installer will make any necessary changes to the P5 processor and the network
professional can make any necessary changes to the networking equipment. Use the worksheet at
the end of this document to record the P5 processor configuration(s).

This specification applies to the current (non-beta 1.22) or newer versions of the HomeWorks
IlluminationTM software.
