 IDC5 BIKE software update 29.0.0
TEXA is synonymous with Technology, Innovation
and Simplicity, all features that make its software
and its tools the ideal solution for vehicle repairers.
The BIKE update 29 is all this, a collection of
diagnostic developments and technical information
resulting from the work of a team of experts that
day by day makes this software unique worldwide,
other than complete, constantly updated and with
a coverage of 79 makes and over 2500 models,
1900 wiring diagrams and 3200 considering the
technical sheets, the technical bulletins and the
nominal value sheets.
Furthermore, IDC5 BIKE is the official software
(OEM) of manufacturers SWM, FANTIC MOTOR
and MOTO MORINI, which join the large group of
BIKE category
APRILIA
The new models “Caponord 1200 Rally”, “RSV4 RR-
RF” and “Tuono V4” (1100 engine) have been added
along with the related complete diagnosis.
The complete diagnosis for the model “Caponord
1200” has been added.
BENELLI*
The new Euro 4 vehicles “Leoncino 500” and “TRK
502” have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis.
The new Euro 4 vehicles “BN302R” and “TNT 125”
have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis and the ECU update function. For the
diagnosis of the vehicle “TNT 125”, the new AP52/
OBD cable is required – see chapter “New diagnostic
cables”. The ECU update function has been added
for the Euro 4 models “BN 251”, “BN302”, “BN600GT”
and “BN600i”.
BMW
IThe complete diagnosis, Global Scan and the service
software update - BIKE 29
motorcycle manufacturers that have chosen TEXA
as their partner in the diagnostic supply to their
authorised centres.
As for this update, we wish to highlight the important
work carried out to further extend the coverage of
makes such as Benelli, BMW, DUCATI, KEEWAY,
MV AGUSTA; to guarantee the diagnosis of vehicles
produced based on the Euro 4 standard; the addition
of the new makes FANTIC MOTOR, SHINERAY,
SWM, GEM and the conversion of over 90% of the
software wiring diagrams into an interactive format.
Below only a small part of all the developments
introduced with update BIKE 29 is listed, divided by
category.
and maintenance (service reset) function has been
added for the Euro 4 models “C 650 GT (K19)”, “R 1200
GS (K50 - Liquid Cooled)” and “R 1200 GS Adventure
(K51 - Liquid Cooled)”. All the BMW vehicles produced
based on the Euro 4 standard are equipped with OBD
socket and therefore the 3151/AP05 cable is required
to carry out the diagnosis.
The new vehicle “C Evolution (K17)” has been added
along with the related electric drive system diagnosis.
The special function CIP to adjust the windscreen has
been added for the Euro 3 vehicle “C 650 GT (K19)”.
The special function CIP to unlock the limiter after
the run-in has been added for the vehicles “S 1000 R
(K47)”, “S 1000 RR (K46)” and “S 1000 XR (K49)”. The
database has been improved.
DUCATI
The new Euro 4 models “Diavel EU4 (NO USA /
CHINA)”, “Monster 821 EU4” (Model year 2017) and
“Scrambler 800 EU4 (NO USA / CHINA)” have been
added along with the related complete diagnosis,
Global Scan, special functions and service and
maintenance (service reset) function.
The complete diagnosis, Global Scan, special
functions and service and maintenance (service
reset) function have been added for the models
“Multistrada 1200”, “Multistrada 1200 D-Air”,
“Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak” and “Multistrada 1200
S/T” produced starting from September 2016 (Euro
4 vehicles).
The diagnosis has been improved on latest-
generation vehicles.
FANTIC MOTOR*
New make. The vehicles “125 Enduro” and “125
Motard” have been added along with the related
electronic ignition system diagnosis.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON
The diagnostics has been improved and enhanced.
HONDA
The new vehicles “ADV750H” and “CBR250RR”
have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis. New vehicles such as “Biz110”, “Biz125”,
“CG160”, “Pop110”, “XRE190” have been added for
the South American market, along with the related
petrol injection system diagnosis.
The diagnostic coverage has been extended.
HUSABERG
The diagnostic coverage has been extended by
adding the models “FE 250”, “FE 350”, “FE 501”
and the special function “CO adjustment” for all
the vehicles of the make. The diagnosis has been
improved and the possibility to identify and select the
correct vehicle automatically through the VIN SCAN
function has been introduced.
HUSQVARNA
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 included.
The new vehicles of series “FC”, “FE”, “FR”, “FS”,
“FX” have been added along with the related petrol
injection system diagnosis and the special function
for the CO adjustment.
The new vehicle “701” has been added along with the
software update - BIKE 29
related complete diagnosis and Global Scan function.
The diagnosis has been improved and the possibility
to identify and select the correct vehicle automatically
through the VIN SCAN function has been introduced.
INDIAN
The new vehicle “Springfield” has been added along
with the related complete diagnosis, and the diagnosis
of the systems “speedometer”, “multifunction
display” and “audio amplification system” has been
added for the vehicles “Chieftain” and “Roadmaster”.
KAWASAKI
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 included. Among the new vehicles, we would
highlight the following: “J125”, “J300” (Euro 4
version), KX450H, Versys-X (KLE300A), “Z650” and
“Z900” with the related complete diagnosis.
KEEWAY**
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 (included) by adding the new Euro 4 vehicles
“CITYBLADE 125”, “LOGIK 125”, “RKS 125”, “RKS
SPORT 125”, “RKV 125”, “SUPERLIGHT 125”, “TX
125” and “ZAHARA 125”. All these vehicles, except for
the “LOGIK 125”, are equipped with OBD socket and
therefore the 3151/AP05 cable is required to carry
out the diagnosis.
KTM
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
June 2017.
Among the many new features, the new vehicles
“250 Duke” and “RC 250” have been added along with
the related complete diagnosis, and the complete
diagnosis, Global Scan, the service and maintenance
(service reset) function have been added for the
models “690 Duke” and “690 Duke R” produced
starting from 2016.
The manual service and maintenance function is
also available for all models “1190 RC8”.
KYMCO
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017.
The new Euro 4 vehicles “Agility 125i R16”, “Agility
150i R16”, “Downtown 125i (SK25E)”, “Downtown
350i (SK64G)”, “G-Dink 300i (SH60)”, “People Gti 300i
ABS (BF60B)”, “People One 125i (KM25A)”, “Xciting
400i (SK80B)”, “X-Town 125i (KS25A)” and “X-Town
300i (KS60A)” have been added along with the related
complete diagnosis. All these vehicles are equipped
with OBD socket and therefore the 3151/AP05 cable
is required to carry out the diagnosis.
MASH**
The diagnostic coverage has been extended by
adding the Euro 4 vehicles.
The new vehicles “Black Seven” and “Two Fifty”
have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis.
MOTO GUZZI
The secondary system diagnosis and the service
and reset function has been added for the vehicles
“Audace”, “California 1400”, “Eldorado” and “MGX-21”.
MOTO MORINI*
The new vehicle “Corsaro 1200 ZZ” has been added
along with the related complete diagnosis. For the
diagnosis of this vehicle, the new 3151/AP53 cable is
required – see chapter “New diagnostic cables”.
MV AGUSTA*
The database has been simplified and the diagnostic
coverage has been expanded up to 2017 included.
The complete diagnosis and the ECU update and
service and maintenance (service reset) functions
have been added for the Euro 4 models “Brutale 675”,
“Brutale 800 Dragster RC”, “Brutale 800 Dragster RR”,
“Brutale 800 RR”, “F3 675”, “F3 675 RC”, “F3 800”,
“F3 800 RC”, “F4 RC”, “Turismo Veloce 800 Base”,
“Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso” and “Turismo Veloce
800 Lusso RC”.
SHINERAY
New make. The vehicles “XY400-2”, “XY400-2A”,
“XY400-A” and “XY400GY” have been included with
the related complete diagnosis.

SUZUKI
The diagnostic coverage has been extended and
improved up to 2015 included. The manual service
and maintenance (service reset) function has been
added for the models “GSX 1300A B-King”, “GSX-R
1000”, “GW 250 Inazuma”, “UH 125 Burgman”,
“UH 200 Burgman”, “UX 125 Sixteen” and “UX 150
Sixteen”.
SWM*
New make. The vehicles “Gran Milano 440”, “Gran
Turismo 440”, “RS125R”, “RS300R”, “RS500R”, “Silver
Vase 440”, “SM125R” and “SuperDual 650” have been
added along with the related complete diagnosis and
the ECU update function. For the injection system
diagnosis and the related reprogramming function,
the new 3151/AP51 cable is required – see chapter
“New diagnostic cables”.
SYM**
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 (included) by adding the new Euro 4 models
“Citycom 300 ABS”, “Crox 125 (AEA3)”, “Fiddle III 125
(XA12A3)”, “Fiddle III 200 (XA20W)”, “Joymax 300 ABS
Start&Stop”, “Joyride S 125 (LFA1)”, “Joyride S 200
(LFA2)”, “Maxsym 400 ABS (LX40A4)”, “Symphony
S 125 (XBA1)”, “Symphony ST 125 (XBA3)” and
“Symphony ST 200 (XB20W)”. All the Euro 4 vehicles
are equipped with OBD socket and therefore the 3151/
AP05 cable is required to carry out the diagnosis.
TRIUMPH
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 included.
Among the many new features, the new models of
“Bonneville Bobber”, “Bonneville T120”, “Speed Triple
S”, “Street Cup”, “Street Scrambler”, “Street Triple”,
“Street Twin”, “Thruxton”, “Tiger 800”, “Tiger Explorer”
e “Tiger Sport” have been added along with the related
complete diagnosis.
VICTORY
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017 included.
The new vehicles “Gunner”, “Magnum” and “Octane”
have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis.
YAMAHA
The diagnostic coverage has been extended up to
2017.
Among the many new features, the vehicle “MT-10”
along with the related complete diagnosis and the
complete coverage of the Euro 4 model “XP 530
T-Max” have been added.

RANGER “M 1400” and “Ranger EV LI-ION” have been
added, as well as the POLARIS DEFENCE “MRZR 900

KAWASAKI

Pro 600/800”, “RMK Shift 144/155 600”, “Rush 600”,
“Switchback 600”, “Switchback Adventure 600/800”,
“Switchback Assault 600/800” and “Widetrak IQ 600”
have been added along with the related complete
diagnosis.
STELS
The new vehicle “V800 Viking” has been added along
with the related petrol injection system diagnosis.
It is important to highlight that, other than the
diagnosis, TEXA also offers additional technical
information such as technical sheets, nominal
values sheets, bulletins and wiring diagrams that are
updated and extended at each SW update.
In particular, many nominal values sheets have been
added for the makes APRILIA, HONDA, KAWASAKI,
MBK, SUZUKI, YAMAHA as well as wiring diagrams
for the makes APRILIA, BMW, DUCATI, HONDA, KTM,
PIAGGIO and SYM.
Within the IDC5 software, you can check out all these
new features in the DOCUMENTATION menu. There,
you will find details of all the makes, models, systems
and the related diagnostic functions introduced in the
version.

 DIAGNOSTIC LIMITATIONS WARNING
Although TEXA strives to keep its diagnostic tools up to date, it ever more often finds itself having to
deal with very complex modern vehicle electronics that requires tools with advanced technological
features.
For this reason the diagnosis or some specific functions are not compatible on some vehicles. the
tools that are subject to these limitations are the following:

- TRIBOX with a T-DIA module.

- NAVIGATOR TXB with a black or PGDS label (S/Ns that start with “DNX” or “W”).
- NAVIGATOR TXM with a black label (S/Ns that start with “DNA”).
- NAVIGATOR TXT with a black label (S/Ns that start with “DNT” or “W”).
In order to make it easier on our customers to switch to a “new generation” TEXA diagnostic tool, that
will guarantee top performance in carrying out your daily work within the workshop, TEXA has set up
a special scrappage program that will allow you to purchase new diagnostic solutions at an extremely
affordable price.

N.B.: The diagnosis on the makes BENELLI, BENELLI (DSK), BIMOTA and on the models APRILIA MXV,
RXV, SXV and the Racing reprogramming function for the SUZUKI, CAGIVA and KAWASAKI vehicles
are not available with the Navigator NANO S interface.
