Purpose

The purpose of the Barangay Suarez Online Complaint Management System is to


provide residents with a web-based platform that enables them to conveniently and
promptly file complaints online. People can quickly file complaints online instead of
going to the barangay office, especially if their home is far from the barangay office.
The system aims to improve the responsiveness, accountability, and transparency of
the barangay's complaint resolution process. Also, it makes the complaint process
more efficient. We will handle the complaint right away if they provide corroborating
evidence. The system will assist the secretary in monitoring the residence information
and complaints record, as well as validating the transparency of the residence data.
If there are complaint cases that require an update, the system will also alert the
administrator. The admin will be aware of the pending complaints for which they
need an update thanks to this feature, saving them the time of looking up the list of
cases on the whiteboard and in the record book.
The technology will assist the barangay staff in creating reports about the barangay's
complaints.

Objectives

General Objective

The main goal of the study is to develop a “Barangay Complaint System


for Barangay Suarez, Iligan City”.

Specific Objective

 - To offer a user-friendly interface so that locals can file complaints, check on the
status of those complaints, and get updates on how those complaints are going.
 -To automate the complaint management process, including routing the
complaints to the appropriate personnel for resolution, monitoring the progress of
the complaints, and generating reports and analytics.
 -To enhance transparency and accountability by enabling residents to monitor the
resolution of their complaints and providing real-time updates on the status of
their complaints.
 -To improve response time and increase efficiency by reducing the need for
residents to physically go to the barangay hall to file their complaints and
allowing the barangay officials to process the complaints more quickly and
efficiently.
 -To shorten the time it takes to respond to complaints and boost efficiency by
removing the need for locals to physically visit the barangay hall and enabling the
barangay officials to handle complaints more quickly and effectively.

Overall, the barangay online complaint management system aims to provide locals
with a more effective, transparent, and efficient means of speaking up about their
grievances and for barangay officials to address them, which will inevitably lead to
better governance and higher levels of local resident satisfaction.
