Q. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of developing new homes on greenfield site compare to
using brownfield.

Sol. Greenfield :-

- The Greenfield project implies that a work which isn't following an earlier work. In framework
the tasks on the unused terrains where there is compelling reason need to rebuild or obliterate
a current construction are called Green Field Undertakings. The tasks which are adjusted or
redesigned are called brownfield projects.
- A greenfield project is one that is unrestricted by previous work that has been done on the
location. A greenfield project often comprises development on an entirely empty site. A
designer begins from scratch.

Advantages -

● A Design adaptability to suit project needs

● The Future expansion potential

● It Can be rented or purchased.

● Construction times are usually shorter.

Disadvantages-

● Infrastructure installation is frequently necessary.
