The following list gives a general but not exhaustive overview on which documents need to be

available during the audit. Out of the list below, the customer will be asked to make soft or hard
copies of the documents that are marked with a cross (x) for the auditor to take them away.
Documents marked in yellow need to available in one of the official audit languages (English, French,
Spanish). If not in the mentioned langauges they have to be translated prior to the audit. For
documents like contracts and invoices, only the translation of a template needs to be available.

Fairtrade Price and Premium payer/conveyor)

List of Fairtrade buyers

List of Fairtrade products/items

List of additional entities dealing with Fairtrade products and their function

Purchase invoices / contracts (on a sample basis)

Purchase figures

Sales invoices / contracts (on a sample basis)

Sales figures

Relevant traceability docs, goods in records, packing station or processing records

If applicable: Documentation related to granted exceptions to the Fairtrade Standards

Signed certification contract
