Stray Animals Feeding and Adaptation

BACKGROUND:

Large stray dog and cat populations are a public health risk. According to Dharamsala
Animal Rescue, people who live in locations with high strays populations run the danger of
contracting diseases like rabies, leptospirosis, cat scratch fever, dog bites and more.
Residents in such locations also struggle with the disruption brought on by the street dogs
barking as a result of territorial disputes. To minimize the spread of harmful disease and dog
attacks, and bites, it’s critical to reduce the number of stray animals on the streets.

Stray cats and dogs in Barangay Nalin 2 that may cause accidents on the road or may hurt
people, to keep this barangay clean and make sure that no accidents will happen caused by them.
And also, to help these animals who are hungry and have no owners who pay attention.

Mrs. Lyra, the elder sister of one of the proponents of this project, member of the last
batch of youth in Nalin. The youth of the Barangay Nalin had a project that included this animal,
we actually saw that the complaints of the residents that they were hanging around decrease a bit.

The goal of this project is to increase public awareness of stray dogs. Our goal is to create
PAW MISSION (Public Animal Welfare), an organization that will look after and defend our
devoted pets. In this world filled with evil, especially among animals, we want change. We need
to put an end to the violence and crime that are now occurring in our universe. Be the change we
want to see in the world by starting with ourself.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

Our mission is to end stray animal abuse once and for all by saving not only dogs' lives but also
those of other creatures.

 To pay attention to them

 To support their needs like food and shelter
 To avoid accidents
 To promote responsibility and love for animals
 To give their basic needs

DESIRED OUTCOME AND IMPACT OF THE PROJECT:

When they are always given food and have a place to live, they can return to their right
senses and return to their normal physical condition. They can be adopted by people who like
them. We will try to find more funding for the next conduction of this project by asking for help
from those who want to help.

RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN:

 While conducting the project safety must be assured. Wear rubber gloves
and boots when serving their food.
 Prepare a first aid kit.
 Tame them first.
 Include adults who know more about them.
 Enlist the help of BPATs as needed.

OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION:

A few barangay authorities will participate in this initiative with us and assist with the

associated cost. The barangay authorities are ready to assist with this project because it will be

clear that the funds were used effectively and weren’t thrown away on pointless items.

CONCLUSION:

In order to best protect the welfare of both people and animals, any action taken by
individuals or animal welfare organizations in response to stray dogs must be carefully
considered. The ultimate goal of these efforts should be to create a world in which no animal
suffers on the streets. If the dog is hungry, there’s a chance that it would hunt for food in the
trash, which would spread rubbish everywhere. We need to protect our devoted pets that
suffering in the streets and being homeless. This stray dog and cat problem will only become
worse unless people act now.

The future would be much better, where dogs and cats on Barangay Nalin 2 do not have
such short and ephemeral lives. The only way to solve the problem is by stop abandoning,
spraying and neutering. Dogs are people's best friends because they show them loyalty and
unwavering love. In the end, it is our job to make sure that dogs are not mistreated on the streets.
They are deserving of the security, warmth, and love that a house or other safe place may
provide.
