    Field Visit – Opatha, Hiniduma Restoration Trial, Kanneliya Rainforest

    Take home Assignment/ In-class Assessment of BT 2019 will be based on the field visit.

    Study site: Opatha, Hiniduma forest restoration site in Kanneliya rainforest.


    Date: Friday, 10th February 2023
    We will be leaving the university sharp at 5.00 a.m.

    ✓ Field note book


    ✓ Pencils with eraser attached with a string, sharpener
    ✓ Hat, Rain coat, Umbrella
    ✓ Basic medicine and first aid
    ✓ Water bottle
    ✓ Leach repellants
    ✓ It is strongly advice to wear covered shoes/boots

    • Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
