Hajj Fares & Applicable Rules- 2023

Pre Hajj operation will commence from 1st Zilqad till 4th Zilhajj, 1444 corresponding
to Gregorian date 21st May till 22nd June, 2023 (subject to moon sighting). Given
below are the salient features of Hajj Fares and applicable Rules.

A) Private Hajj Scheme Fares (HGOs):

 Above fares are in USD and exclusive of all applicable taxes.

 Above fares shall be applicable with immediate effect for ticketing and
outbound travelling effective from 21 May till 22 June 2023.
 South Zone will comprise of only KHI, rest all gateways shall fall in North Zone
except UET.
 Ex UET-JED/MED lean season South Fares will be applicable in all seasons
and from all gateways.

Fare Combinability (JED/MED)

 Hajj fares of JED & MED are combinable for all seasonality/Cabins on Half RT basis.

 Seasonality dates are subject to moon sighting and any revision in

Arrival/Departures dates by KSA authorities.

C) Applicable Rules for Private Hajj Scheme (HGO):

Station will collect 10% (Non-refundable) of base fare per seat on account
of advance for group confirmation and EMD will be issued accordingly as
per Group PNR SOP.

After finalization of ticketing, ACM/Credit notes (For already collected

advance amount) will be issued to agent by PK office immediately to the
respective agents.

Ticketing will be done at least 07 days prior to flight departure.

All Hajj fares are Net/Net basis plus applicable taxes.

YR shall be waived off in case ticketing is done at PK counter on Cash/Pay

order.

Maximum ticket validity will be 60 days for Hajj visa.

Tickets of Khuddam ul Hujjaj will be valid for 90 days.

D) Discounts:

 No discount shall be applicable on child passenger.

 For Infant, 10% of the applicable adult Hajj fare will be charged.

 10% Discount shall be applicable for Khuddam ul Hujjaj booked in RBD ‘T’.

E) Penalties/Charges

Following charges shall be applicable on Hujjaj Ex PAK-JED/MED v.v.

Change of Booking Charges Ex-PAK

Before Commencement of Journey Ex Pakistan: One COB either way

allowed free of charge 07 days prior to departure of Hajj flight Ex-PAK/KHI
(scheduled or chartered).

For any subsequent change (inbound/outbound) or a change within 7 days

of departure of flight from Pakistan above charges shall be applicable. Full
COB charges will be applicable on Child/infant occupying seat. COB is not
applicable to Infant without seats.

Note: Difference of fare will be charged if passenger changes return date

from Lean season to Shoulder/Peak season.

In case of applicability of both No Show and COB charges, the higher of

the two charges shall apply along with difference of fare if applicable.

COB/No-Show charges will not be applicable for Government Hajj Scheme/

Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj (Letter from concerned shall be required with valid
reason.

Charges for Partially Utilized Tickets:

Partially utilized Hajj tickets are non-refundable. However, in case of death

of passenger, partial refund of a ticket is allowed upon production of
Death/ burial certificate & other required documents. For all such cases,
an amount equivalent to 60% of applicable RT Fare plus used taxes will be
deducted and the remaining balance shall be refunded without
collecting any Refund charges.

F) Conditions for Waiver of Applicable Charges:

No-show/Refund/COB/DOF/Stopover charges shall not be applicable in

case of passenger is unable to travel on the booked flight due to following
reasons:

 Death of Passengers, Mehram, immediate family member. (Death

Certificate and other documentation shall be required and same shall be
verified by concerned DM, DSM and PSM.

 Hospitalization of Pax/Mehram/ immediate family member. (Hospitalization

Certificate shall be required).

 Denied boarding due to operational reasons i.e. change of equipment,

flight cancellation.

 Misconnection, involuntary re-routing, involuntary re-accommodation due

to operational reasons.

 Involuntary reissuance from lower RBD to higher RBD. No DOF will be

applicable.

 Involuntary up-gradation / down-gradation due to operational reasons.

 Flight departure ahead of schedule. (Pax not informed due to any reason).

 Force majeure conditions i.e. natural disasters etc.

 For Khuddam ul Hujjaj.

 REVENUE MANAGEMENT DIVISION

General Manager Revenue Management is authorized to waive off applicable

charges in special circumstances i.e. Disruption of flight operation due to law &
order situation, force majeure.

G) Free Baggage Allowance:

FBA for Executive Economy Cabin

Carry-on Baggage 07 Kg

FBA for Economy Cabin

Checked Baggage 40 kg

In addition to regular FBA, a bottle of 5 liter zamzam shall be allowed on free of

charge basis.

H) Stopover Charges:

 One free stopover will be allowed in either direction within Pakistan.

 USD 50/- will be charged per additional stopover, for each Adult/ Child.

 Charges shall not be applicable in case of involuntary stopover.
