ACTIVITY 1:
Based on your experience, what rules do you find restricting? List down 5 rules that
restrict you. Why?

Answer:
The rules that I find restricting are;
1. Talking back to adults when their opinion is wrong.
My parents told me not to argue or make a debate with adult because, it is
believed that adults are always right. For me, everyone of us has the right
to say whatever we think is right, if an old person is already telling stories
that are beyond facts/ telling stories that are not true, it is the time for us to
tell the true story in a calm and convincing tone.

2. Boys are required to have a haircut every month

I find this one restricting because, having a haircut every month makes
every male student look presentable and clean.

3. Going home late

Going home late might put me in a danger, it is good that I must go home
early so that, I will be able to make myself safe and make my parents feel
reassured with my situation

4. Be honest in all things, large and small.

If we rationalize committing small acts of dishonesty, it becomes easier to
commit progressively larger sins.

5.  Be gentle and compassionate with the truth.

People who are gentle and compassionate are more satisfied with their
lives, have better physical and mental health, and have stronger
relationships. Being kind and compassionate can help other people, and
make you feel good too.
