Pizza Hut (Franchising)

Pizza Hut is a US based international restaurant chain that is home to


one of the world’s favorite food, Pizzas and much more. The brand had
started their journey in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, when two college
students Frank and Dan Carney; opened their first pizza restaurant. They
laid the foundations for what would later become the largest and most
successful pizza restaurant in the world.

Pizza Hut is a division of Yum! Brands Inc. and has more than 13,200
restaurants and delivery units operating worldwide. The 100th country to
join the Pizza Hut club under the flag of Yum! Restaurants International
is Tanzania. Here, Pizza Hut had delivered pizza at the top of Mt.
Kilimanjaro to celebrate the beginning of their operations

At Pizza Hut, the core belief that drives us forward is that great food

relentlessly tries to bring in the best food offers of the country, to make

Pizza Hut, in Bangladesh, has been trying to make their pizzas more
accessible to the customers by both creating value and opening new
stores across geographical area. From the beginning of their journey in
Bangladesh in 2003, Pizza Hut has opened 8 dine-in restaurants and 8
Pizza Hut outlets from where the valued customers can get their pizzas
delivered. From our tantalizing appetizers to signature pan pizzas,
pastas, risottos and desserts, our menu has something for everyone.
Pizza Hut brand experience resonates generosity, friendships,
naturalness and fun; making it stand for much more than the Pizza.
RAK Ceramics (Joint Venture)

RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited is the country’s largest and most


respected tiles and sanitary ware brand. The Company was incorporated
in Bangladesh on 26 November, 1998 as a private limited company
under the Companies Act, 1994 as a UAE-Bangladesh joint venture
project. It has started its commercial production on 12 November 2000.
It has converted into public limited company on 10 June 2008 and listed
in the stock exchanges of Bangladesh on 13 June 2010. The Company
has anchored this position on the basis of its market-leading capacities,
world class manufacturing assets, high production utilization, optimized
cost structures, vibrant sales and distribution network and robust
customer engagement programs.

The core business of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited is to


manufacture and sell of ceramics and gres porcellanato (Porcelain/ fully
vitrified) tiles, bathroom sets and all types of sanitary ware. The
Company has over 2,500 models active in the ceramic and porcelain tile
business and regularly adds several new designs to the product portfolio.
The Company manufactures tiles in a very wide range of tiles in the
sizes from 20 cm X 30 cm up to 60 cm X 60 cm in Bangladesh location.
The Company has over 30 models an exclusive range of sanitary ware to
offer with a very wide choice. In sanitary ware various models are
produced in wash basins (mounted as well as pedestal), water closets,
accessories and marble sets. Besides, the product mix is geared to
produce mostly value added products. This paired with the other
advantages will ensure a shrunken payback cycle. Production is mostly
consumed in local market.
Coca-Cola (Licensing)

Coca-Cola is the popular beverage in the world. It is a US based


company registered in March 27, 1944. It has unique formula, that’s
why it has got much popularity in the whole world. Seeing its popularity
Tabani Beverage, a state own company of Bangladesh got the license to
bottle the coco-cola and marketed in Bangladesh. Then the coca cola
also become popular in Bangladesh. But, because of the inefficiency of
the Tabani beverage, it incurred huge loss in the business. Abdul Monem
Limited (AML) has taken the advantage of the inefficiency of Tabani
beverage. AML has become success in convincing the Coca-Cola parent
company and got the license to bottle the Coca-Cola in Bangladesh.
Then, the Abdul Monem Limited has become the successful Bottler
Company in the Bangladesh and the Tabani beverage is out of market.
Now, what Coca-Cola beverage we are drinking, it is bottle by Abdul
Monem Limited.

With coke, it is also bottling the other Coca-Cola product like Fanta,
Sprite, Sunfill Mango Juice & Kinley Drinking Water.
