The Solo Meeple

Eldritch Horror Insert

This insert will fit Eldritch Horror base game and two
small box expansions—in this case Forsaken Lore and
Strange Remnants.

After completing it I went out and purchased Mountains

of Madness. I managed to fit some of the content in,
but not all—I can’t see as it is possible to fit much more
into the box no matter the insert.

I do not sleeve my cards and have not taken sleeve size

into account, however, I’m sure that with slight adjust-
ment of the measurements sleeved cards may well fit.

required please refer to my Blog post on the subject—
Working with Foam Board.

Notes

All Foam board used -5mm.

The base game fits quite nicely, and so do the above men-
tioned expansions, but you may wish to play around with the
layout if you add more.

The area I used for non-elite monsters is quite tight and may
be better utilised to store the investigator off their base, but I
liked having the investigators on base and ready to go—it also
cuts down on wear and tear to the standees.

Where I placed the Gates is just right for the base set. Again,
adding certain expansions will effect this, as it does the Epic-
Monsters

Always check your measurements before cutting. The plans

show exact measurements, as if everything went perfectly,
but it rarely does. Half a millimetre off when placing each
sidewall will change your internal measurements slightly.
Don’t worry, things will work out, just check what you want
fits in the space before cutting and gluing.

Main Insert

Image A - 2-sidewalls 64mm and 2-sidewalls are 49mm. This

allows the board to fit snugly into the box.

2
Image B—These edges do not need to be angled and could be cut square. The gap is
there to make sure you can grab hold of the cards.

Image C—The counter tray will sit on these, so you need to check the depth ties in with the depth of your coun-
ter tray. The top of the counter tray will need to sit level with the rest of the insert, so that the board prevents
the counters from roaming around.

3
Image D—Again, these dividers can be cut square instead of angled.

The image of the counter tray to

the left was taken slightly off
square, so it looks a little uneven,
but it isn’t… honest!
