Boating Safety Courses

THE COURSES LISTED BELOW HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR BOATER EDUCATION CARD APPLICANTS
Blue = Adventures in Boating (WA State Parks): Eight-hour class taught in one full day or two half days.
Green = America’s Boating Course (US Power Squadron): One full day; two half days; or one night a week for four to seven weeks.
Black = Squadron Boating Course (US Power Squadron): Six or seven two-hour classes.
Purple = Boating Skills and Seamanship (USCG Auxiliary): Eight- to 13-lesson course (exceeds minimum state requirements).
Red = About Boating Safely (USCG Auxiliary): One full day; two half days; or one night a week for four to seven weeks.
Note: Class length varies with the type of class. For questions about a class, please call/email the instructor.
