NARRATIVE REPORT

For the morning session before the start of the day, at exactly 8:00 am, a short program
was initiated by the chosen intermediate teachers.The topics for day 3 were discussed by yours truly.
The first one is “MGA INSTRUKSYUNAL TEKNIK SA PAGTUTURO” where in variety of techniques
that are applicable for higher grades were tackled and presented to our dear teachers.Our active
participants participated enthusiastically and shared their own experiences in practicing some of the
given techniques. Truly, it’s been a very lively INSET.

And for the afternoon session,we started at around 1:00 pm. The informative topic tackled was
“DESIGNING ASSESSMENT TOOL APPROPRIATE FOR STRUGGLING LEARNERS”. Some of which
where already practiced by teachers and some were new to them. This is very timely since few of our learners
were struggling and still adjusting to their studies maybe due to the after effect of the pandemic which affected
their mode of studies for more than 2 years. This assessment tool will be of great help to us teachers in
assessing our learners that are in need of our assistance and guidance.To wrap it up, the 3rd day of the SLAC
was a success!
