Nowadays, young people tend to leave the countryside for the city because of its

great advantages. Firstly, living in the city can solve the unemployment problem
which is extremely serious these days with well–paid jobs. City life has many
companies, offices, and factories in different fields. These jobs will help people
earn a lot of money to improve their living. Secondly, city life attracts more and
more dwellers every day because of the convenience and modernity. You can
find shopping centres, theatres, cinemas, banks and hospitals in every corner of
the city. For example, if you are too busy to cook by yourself, you can get out of
your apartment and you will see a lot of food stores. I'm sure that the food is
fresh and not too expensive. It's very simple to have a nice meal. We can't deny
that the more convenient a city is, the more populated it is. Thirdly, you can't
get bored when you live in the city. There are so many things to do there such
as: having parties with friends, going to the sports centre to keep fit, going for a
walk, taking part in clubs,…If there weren't different activities, the city's
residents would be very spiritless. In conclusion, living in the city has its
benefits. Personally, I believe that living in the city will be a great choice to
develop our life.
