Environmental Conservation Action & Education For A Better Eco-tourism in Nation

Ecotourism is one of the famous and fastest growing industries in the world today. It is

described as a form of natural resources based tourism focused on experiencing and learning

about nature. Ecotourism presents a small segment of nature-tourism, which is understood as

travelling to relatively undisturbed or uncontaminated natural areas (Gossling, 1999).

Ecotourism is both an expansion and a refinement of the connection between tourism and

conservation. It builds on the idea of using tourism to reinforce conservation and vice versa,

while deepening the criteria for sustainability. It emerged in the late 1980s, in the dawn of

sustainable development. (Ecotourism for conservation? | annual review of environment and

resources)

The quality of the environment, both natural and man-made, is one of the most crucial

factors for tourism to succeed in a specific location. However, a lot of tourism-related activities

have an adverse impact on the environment. These take place when environmental care is

insufficient compared to the level of usage. Many natural regions throughout the world are under

danger due to unrestrained tourism. It can put a lot of strain on a region and have a bad impact on

the quality of the air and water, the flora, the soil, the wildlife, and many other aspects of the

environment. On the other hand, tourism has the potential to create beneficial effects on the

environment by contributing to environmental protection and conservation. It is a way to raise

awareness of environmental values and it can serve as a tool to finance protection of natural

areas and increase their economic importance.

Ecotourism is nature tourism and can also be referred to as alternative tourism or

bio-tourism. Ecotourism depends on available natural physical attractions, namely hills,

waterfalls, springs, caves, lakes and mountains across the length and breadth of any country. The

fascinating features and beautiful scenes provide interesting sites for leisure, adventure and other

tourism-related activities. Ecotourism therefore combines two things to make it more attractive

today, conservation and welfare of residents. The natural physical attractions mostly exist in

local communities either as a geo-heritage or natural features supporting and promoting

settlement of locals. Ecotourism can therefore be defined along the school of thought of ‘The

international Ecotourism Centre’ as responsible travel to natural areas that protect the

environment and sustain the welfare of indigenous communities or rural population with

interpretation and education. ( (Soaga, Role of ecotourism in Sustainable Development 2022)

An indirect but powerful way ecotourism can work for conservation is by strengthening

local institutions. Species, landscapes, communities, habitats, and places at the heart of

ecotourism (and tourism) operations are often common pool resources. (Annual Review of

Environment and resources recent progress and emerging ...)

It involves economic development and conservation to ensure sustainable development.

Natural resources are the focal point in ecotourism with the broad division into renewable and

non-renewable natural resources. The non-renewable resources are the physical attractions which

are abiotic that are formed through geological processes, and renewable resources are biotic that

are capable of regeneration through reproduction. These resources are also referred to as

environmental resources. (Soaga, Role of ecotourism in Sustainable Development 2022)

The main goal of this project is to:

• Maintain and restore habitats and protect biological diversity as well as prevent the wasteful

use of resources.

• To promote environmental sustainable Eco-tourism by educating everyone about

Environmental Conversation so that travelers can thrive.

• To Addressed Eco-tourism about the Nature in Tourist Spot

• Addressed the Relationship between Tourism and Environment

• To address the Role of Eco-tourism in environmental

Purpose:

Our advocacy's goal is to work and inform for environmental preservation and protection. The

following factors make it clear that this project is essential to protecting the ecosystem from

further degradation:

•To reduce air, water , and land pollution

•To facilitate the conservation of natural resources for future generations

•To ensure the protection of biodiversity

•To implement sustainable development

•To restore the ecological balance

•To save our planet from the harmful repercussions of global warming

Description:

Environmental Conservation is the practice of preserving the natural world to prevent it

from collapsing as a result of human activities, such as unsustainable agriculture, deforestation

and burning fossil fuels.

Conservation of nature means the preservation of forests, land, water bodies, and minerals,

fuels, natural gases, etc. And to make sure that all these continue to be available in abundance.

Thus all these natural resources make life worth living on Earth.

Environmental conservation is a practice that paves the way for protecting the

environment and natural resources on the individual, organisational as well as governmental

levels. Various core environmental issues are taking a heavy toll on human lives.

We hold a profound regard for the natural world and seek to experience it in a way that is

responsible, sustainable, and meaningful as a community of eco-travelers. Our activism,

Environmental Conversation Action for Better Eco-Tourism in the Nation, is something we are

proud to share with you.

Now that we are aware of what environmental conservation is and how important it is,

let's adopt and learn the basic methods we can use to protect the environment. We can also carry

out these actions in our homes or at eco-tourist destinations to maintain a sustainable

environment with the help of volunteers:

A. Waste Management -Especially in developing countries and congested places, on a

daily basis, a large amount of waste is thrown away recklessly on the streets and roads. The

improper disposal of waste segregation can lead to various dreadful diseases as well as soil

pollution. To ensure minimal wastage as well as facilitate waste disposal, we can opt for various

techniques like the 3R’s, i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, dry and wet waste segregation,

amongst others. People all around the world should also participate and respect the good ways of

waste segregation.

B.Forest Conservation - We know that plants and trees are the essential sources of air, food

as well as other day-to-day products we use. Forests are the dwelling place of different living

creatures and a single disturbance in the ecosystem can cause disruption in the water cycle as

well as the food chain. Thus, afforestation is amongst the core Environmental conservation and

aims to plant more trees as well as save the existing ones from cutting down as trees play a

crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance (Edu, Environmental conservation 2022). This

Project is also providing tree samplings for those who could help also in an afforestation

programs such as the organizational, governments and other volunteers in eco-friendly programs.

Ways of Conserving the Environment in General Terms:

1. Adopt an environment-friendly lifestyle

2. Adopt waste Management techniques

3. Deforestation must be stopped

4. Natural non-renewable resources must be utilized properly

Support:

The advocacy `` Environmental Conservation Action & Education For A Better

Eco-tourism in Nation`` there is no estimated budget on this project, any amount of the people

will be appreciated, it is for purchasing a tree samplings from the beloved farmers. The sum will

be gathered through donations, supports and sponsors. This project also need a support of

everyone to participate and respect this advocacy in order to maintain a environmentally friendly

tourism.
