 Before we talk about carpentry we should talk about the kind of wood that we
work on. We have two base kinds of wood. Which are soft and hardwoods the
softwoods are easier to work with because of their weight and toughness softwoods
have far atoms from each other and the tools that we use for softwoods are much simple.
what is carpentry? the activity or occupation of making or repairing things in wood with
tools Carpentry is a skilled trade and a craft in which the primary work performed is the
cutting, shaping, and installation of building materials during the construction of
buildings, ships, timber bridges, and concrete formwork. The tools that we use in
carpentry include hammers, tape measures, chalk lines, carpentry pencils, ….etc.

 In carpentry, measuring is the most important thing because you are working
wood if a measurement went wrong u cant redo it you must start from the beginning we
have 2 kinds of measurements meters and feet but we mostly use meters. From my
experience carpentry is an amazing activity and subject that should be important in any
engineering department. Carpentry is important because other subjects can’t go on
without, for example, sand casting or the first stages of designing a plane.

Result

I think carpentry is the most important subject. Carpenters build frameworks and
structures by cutting and shaping wood and other construction materials. One of the
construction's most iconic roles, carpenters are involved throughout the building
process, from basic layout to the finishing touches on a home, school, or office.

Discussion

Carpentry is important to work but the workers which work in the woods called
carpenters have an advantage and dis advantage carpenters can see the result of your

work in another hand they don’t get paid a lot they can make things on their own but
risk accidents and it is a talented job. Without carpenters, life can be hard.
