is a professional organization for engineers of
various disciplines. Some are umbrella type
organizations which accept many different disciplines,
while others are discipline-specific..

(JEA) Establishment
JEA Vision
• JEA was established according to the Law • Seeking to organize and develop the
No. (15) for the year 1972 and the Amending engineering occupation and accession with
Laws thereon. the member professionally, scientifically,
• Before that it was called "Engineering Sociality and economically
Professions Association" according to the
Law No. (18) issued in the 1958, following
the cancellation of the Law No. (59) issued in
1953 by which the first " Jordan Engineers
Society" was incorporated in Jordan.

JEA Mission JEA Objectives

• Working on organize and develop the engineering occupation and
building the Jordanian Engineers abilities to share efficiency in
economically development to Jordan.
– working on create environment driving for development, creation and
invention to give the society and the nation.
– offer the best professional and technicality services.
– cooperate with the official sides as consultative form and share it to put
educational programs and engineering, professional and industrial training to
rise with the scientific and professional level for the members.
– defend on members rights.
– acquires and to guaranty the good living for members and there families
– consolidation the cooperation and the coordination with the engineering
professional unions Arabian, Islamic and international.
A. Organization of the profession's practices in such manner as will raise its
scientific and professional standing and exploit any accruing benefits for economic
,civic , and national advancement;
B. Defend the members interests and dignity and uphold the profession's ethics and
honor;
C. Promote the scientific and professional standing of engineers and activate and
support research in the science of engineering;
D. Participate in planning and developing educational and training programs in
engineering, industry, and vocational trades and Endeavour to raise the, proficiency
of persons practicing engineering;
E. Participate in studies of inter-Arab nature, and exchange with the Arab countries
information, expertise , and publications covering engineering subjects;
F. Provide a decent life to engineers and their families in the event of disability, old
age, and other emergency cases;
G. Make all possible endeavors to enable the Association to achieve its professional
objectives.

1. Amman. working in JRA to assist them to Serve
2. Jerusalem. engineers in two main Fields of engineers
• also has 17 branches in different cities of sciences, and social aspects for engineers,
Jordan. Around 1000 engineers are working as
volunteers in these commitees.
• And has representative offices in UAE, KSA,
Qatar, Bahrain, Libya, Sudan, AlGeria, Egypt,
Turkish, USA, Germany, Italia and Canada.
