at Waseda University in Japan, Jerome Polin had applied for a scholarship test at NTU
Singapore. Unfortunately, the test results stated that Jerome could only get 50% of the
scholarship and 50% had to be borne alone. Because of that, Jerome finally had to give up his
intention and opportunity to study in Singapore. However, the failure to get a full scholarship in
Singapore did not necessarily make Jerome give up. This actually sparked his enthusiasm to
get a scholarship at another university. At that time Jerome tried to enroll at Waseda University
majoring in Applied Mathematics by applying for a full scholarship from Mitsui Bussan. And sure
enough, thanks to his enthusiasm and persistence, he was successfully accepted to study in
Japan in 2016 until now. Jerome Polin is one of two people selected to get a full scholarship to
study at Waseda University, Japan majoring in Applied Mathematics. Jerome has aspirations
