ACTION REFLECTION FAITH in ACTION (ARFA)

This week’s duty at Brgy. Bangad in Sta Maria really opened my eyes to things I’ve

never really paid attention to. The people who are unbale, uneducated, and poor lack the

resources to take care of themselves and are insufficient when it comes to the knowledge. So, I

really believe that God placed this passion and fire in my heart to help those who can’t help

themselves.

During the past few days, while walking and talking to the people of the barangay, it’s

been a humbling experience. They all live simple and happy lives, even though they might

struggle and might work harder than the average person, they live contented lives.

Proverbs 19:17 “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay

him for his deed.” The Lord asks of us to be generous and helpful to the poor, not because we

will get a reward, but because we ought to out of the kindness and lovingness of our hearts.
