Baptism

Baptism is an important sacrament

since Jesus was baptized and
instructed his disciples after his
resurrection that they should be
baptized as well. If God has given
us a mission, it is our responsibility
to carry it out. As a result, our
work is devotion.

Baptism tells us that, despite our wrong doings, God cleanses us. A
new Christian needs a spiritual family, a family who believes in
Jesus. We are Christ's brothers and sisters, and we need each other
to grow in our faith. Friendship with God has many rewards. God is
particularly concerned about the well-being of His friends. He
loves, counsels, comforts, and encourages them because he cares for
them
