Policy Coverage: Financial loss caused due to an item being lost or damaged during transit within

India. Coverage starts from point of dispatch and ends at customer delivery point as per address
on invoice. In case of non-delivery, the same is covered until the item arrives back at the dispatch
point. It is necessary for the assured when they become aware of an event which is "held covered"
under this insurance to give prompt notice to the Company and the right to such cover is dependent
upon compliance with this obligation. In the event of loss or damage that may result in a claim,
immediate notice must be given to the Company.

Goods Covered: Upon consignment said to contain Health and Beauty products, Fashion
Apparels, electronic, automobiles, and accessories, Home, lifestyles, and gifts, food and groceries,
books, music and entertainment, sports, hobbies, toys, mobile accessories, medicines, green
coffee, tools and hardware, educational contents, back cover of mobiles, stationery, pet supplies,
herbal products, printer cartridges, ink, toner, label types, mobiles phones, artificial/ imitation
Jewellery

Excluded Cargoes:

1. Bulk shipments unless carried out in ISO Tank containers or purpose built road or rail tank
conveyance,
2. Bloodstock livestock and living creature,
3. Alcohol spirit for consumption,
4. Cigarettes,
5. Deeds securities, treasury notes, and the like excluding passports,
6. Designs, patterns plan, manuscripts and all such documents,
7. Money (including bank notes and coin currencies),
8. Precious stones and metals (including but not limited to bullion, jewellery made of gold, silver, other
precious stones, gems etc, precious coins, and such precious items/ articles),
9. Stamps, duty stamps, tickets and the like,
10. Motor vehicles, aircraft, water craft and the like
11. Arms, ammunitions and explosives.
12. Cement,
13. Charity Goods, and / or humanitarian aid,
14. Household goods and personal effects excluding those belonging to the official of the clients named
in the policy,
15. Prototypes and one of a kind interest,
16. Hazardous Goods,
17. Explosives,
18. Gases (including compressed air of gas appliances),
19. Indian Postal Articles,
20. Flammable Cargo like petrol, diesel and such allied cargoes,
21. Poisonous / Toxic Articles,
22. Radioactive Materials,
23. Corrosive Material,
24. Precious and Semi-precious items excluding any fashion jewellery would be covered,
25. Chemicals and power if not accompanied by chemicals analysis report and material safety data
sheet and NON DGR Declaration.
26. Work of arts.
• Second Hand / Used / Refurbished items are not covered
• Unexplained shortages or shortages out of sound packing are not covered.
• Mysterious disappearances are not covered.

Limitation of liability: The insurer’s liability is limited to maximum of “Invoice value+5%”. Kindly
note that this will be limited by the value declared by the insured at the time of procuring insurance.
The maximum value of a single item under the policy is limited to INR 25,00,000/-

Deductible: A compulsory excess of 0.5% of the claim amount will be applied for each and every
invoice / AWB number.

Claim Documentation

To enable claims to be dealt with promptly, the assured are advised to submit all
available and requested supporting information and documents without delay, including
but not limited to the following:

o PAN card/number details;


o Bank account details of the registered entity (to be updated on the ShipRocket’s
system/panel),
Details of the concerned product(s), including but not limited to brand name, model no., IMEI
number, etc based on the product nature.

In case of damage goods received:


o Manifest/digital stamp proof from ShipRocket’s system
o COF – Certificate of Fact which is given by logistics at the time of claim
o Proof of delivery
o Images of damaged products
o Shipping label and invoice copy of the item for which claim is being raised
o Airway Bill No / LR / RR
Self-survey till INR 20,000/- claim amount. Surveyor shall be appointed for claims more than INR
20,000/- and any other requirement can be checked on case to case basis

In case of goods not delivered to customer but damage product received by seller during
return Shipment: ITC A coverage applicable:

o Manifest/digital stamp proof from client systems


o COF – Certificate of Fact which is given by logistics at the time of claim
o Proof of non-delivery to customer
o Images of damaged products to check extent of damages
o Shipping label and invoice copy of the item for which claim is being raised
o Airway Bill No / LR / RR
o Self survey till INR 20,000/- claim amount. Surveyor shall be appointed for claims more
than INR 20,000/- and any other requirement can be checked on case to case basis

In case of goods delivered to customer which is not as specified in invoice or


opened for whatsoever reason but product received by seller during return
shipment in damaged condition : ITC B coverage applicable

o Manifest/digital stamp proof from client systems


o COF – Certificate of Fact which is given by logistics at the time of claim
o Images of product at the time it is delivered to consignee
o Proof of rejection by consignee
o Images of products after accident to check the extent of damage
o Proof of accident ( surveyor shall be appointed for claims more than INR 20,000/- and
any other requirement can be checked on case to case basis)
o Shipping label and invoice copy of the item for which claim is being raised
Airway Bill No / LR / RR

In case of shortage/ lost/ misplaced consignment:

o Manifest/digital stamp proof from client systems


o COF – Certificate of Fact which is given by logistics at the time of claim
o Shipping label and invoice copy of the item for which claim is being raised
o Airway Bill No / LR / RR
o In case of Lost claims internal Investigation report to be provided by logistic partner on
email, describing about the loss of shipment and it details Copy of Police FIR required for
individual claim more than INR 50,000/-

Self survey till INR 20,000/- claim amount. Surveyor shall be appointed for claims more
than INR 20,000/- and any other requirement can be checked on case to case basis
The above terms & conditions are indicative in nature, and other/additional terms &
conditions of the Insurance policy as set out by the concerned Insurer/insurance
company from time to time shall also be applicable.
