With One Meal and Two Snacks Taken from the School MOOE

I. RATIONALE:
Pursuant to Department of Education Order No. 36, 1997, the conduct of a Mid-Year
Program Review and Evaluation (MPRE), in particular in our school GSIS Heights National High
School, Matina, Davao City, shall transpire on February 6-10, 2023 of which on Feb. 10, 2023,
Friday at GSIS Heights National High School Gym where each teacher will experience a free meal
and two snacks while engaging in team building activities --- the meal and snacks will be taken
from the school MOOE with the following objectives:

1. Evaluating the progress attained in the implementation of the educational program of the school;
2. Reviewing the performance of the teachers and the school staff with a view to addressing
concerns through cooperative efforts; (D.O. 36 s. 1997) and
3. Strengthening the spirit of camaraderie, teamwork, and cooperation of the school’s teaching and
non-teaching staff.

Activity Rationale:

Every year since 1997, a week-long activity termed as Mid-Year Program Review and

Evaluation (MPRE) has been conducted to a) evaluate the progress attained in the implementation

of the educational program of the school; b) review the performance of the teachers and the school

staff with a view of addressing concerns through cooperative effort c) providing students with off-

school learning experiences undertaken either individually or in groups in order to apply learning

in the different subjects in a real-life context. In particular, the conduct of the last day of the Mid-

year Program Review and Evaluation will be with a meal and two snacks to at least make each

teacher feel that each is important and special.

The Project Proposal aims to:

a. Boost the morale of teachers as they partake a meal and two snacks at the same time,
improving and strengthening the relationship of each one to the other.
b. develop self-resiliency and other relevant values like teamwork, cooperation, and
collaboration.
c. strengthen and reinforce professional development
d. promote camaraderie among others.
e. Harmonize Gender Development Guidelines (HGDG) on the conduct of the activity.
f. Build a family in school where everyone cares for the other and does not put down each
other while achieving the Department’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Expected Output:

A strengthened bond among the teachers and school head of GSIS Heights NHS while
achieving the Department’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Output Indicator/s (including quantity): 18 members of the school family shall have been more
motivated to achieve the Department’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

Methodology:

The teachers will attend a face to face celebration and will gather at the GSIS Heights NHS Gym,
Davao City.
