At a cafe in the afternoon, the entire marketing team had gathered for a meeting, they were
waiting for the presence of Mr. Irsyad (Marketing Manager) of the company "Nectar Parfume."
Not long after, Mr. Irsyad came to join and greet the marketing team. They shook hands and
Mrs. Nia, one of the marketing staff invited everyone to sit down to immediately start today's
meeting.
Nia: Good afternoon to Mr. Irsyad, Mrs. Dilla, Mrs. Eka, and fellow Marketing Staff
Pak Syawal and also Mrs. Selpiani who was present. On this occasion, we will hold a meeting

would like to hear the last 3 months' sales report.
Selpi: Ok sir, I will report the sales results for the last 3 months, market demand has fallen by
45%. We have tried our best to increase market turnover but the demand for our products
continues to decline day by day.
Irshad: What?! How can market turnover decrease so drastically, even though I think we just
released a product and took the company's cash for it? What could be the cause?
Dilla: I think the problem is in our decreased turnover due to the many products similar to those
of our company sir. They try to compete by creating innovations with a more contemporary
style. Both in terms of promotion and packaging, sir.
Irshad: Thank you for the explanation. In this case, we must quickly take action so that sales
results increase immediately.
Dilla: Currently for digital marketing I plan to maximize product advertisements on the Tiktok
Shop application platform according to current trends. As a social media with the most users, of
course, this will be our opportunity because it will be connected with millions of active users
from various backgrounds who will be our company's target market.
Eka: Agreed, I agree with Dilla about following trends, but not only that. I think to develop the
potential of our brand on national and international levels, I think we also need to do
endorsements. Paying public figures or celebrities to become brand ambassadors for our
products, what about Korean idols? They are being enjoyed by many people around the world. It
can again attract the attention of our consumers.
Irsyad: It's a good idea to do a program like that. But first I want to know the income statement,
changes in equity, and balance sheet for the last three months.
Syawal: (submits the report then opens the laptop.) So sir, if we take from the previous month's
cash, it can finance the promotion of our product. Because this month's profit is below average
than usual due to this problem. So I think we can take from the previous month's cash and pay
the brand ambassador to increase our product promotion, sir.
Irsyad: After I saw this report, Yes. I think I agree with what you said earlier Syawal.
Syawal: Fine sir, Thank you. I will arrange the entire cost that we need for the cost of brand
ambassadors for our products, sir.
