 Research Design

A descriptive survey approach will be

utilized in this study to evaluate the
sociodemographic characteristics of a
sample of La Concepcion College, Inc.
Psychology students, including sex, age,
and EQ.
 Sampling Technique

Purposive or snowball sampling is a

non-representative subset of a
larger population that is formed to
fit a specific need or function. It
is the non-probability sampling
approach that the researchers will
be selecing.
 Research Instrument

The researcher's questionnaire checklist will

be utilized to collect data. It will be
required to gather data for the student's
profile.

STATISTICAL
Descriptive statistics like
frequency count, mean, percent,
and rank will be taken into
account. Pearson Product Moment of
Correlation Coefficient will be
used to determine if there is a
correlation between the
independent and dependent
variables.

 Research Design
In order to evaluate the sociodemographic
characteristics of a sample of La Concepcion
College, Inc. college students, this study will
employ a descriptive questionnaire method.
Descriptive research is the process of gathering,
analyzing, classifying, and tabulating data with
the goal of describing current circumstances,
practices, beliefs, processes, trends, and cause-
and-effect relationships. This data is then
adequately and accurately interpreted, either with
or without the help of statistical analysis.
 Sampling Technique

This study's participants

will be drawn from La
Concepcion College, Inc.
Random sampling will be
used to choose samples at
random from various strata
of the population.
 Research Instrument
To collect information, a researcher-created
questionnaire checklist will be employed. Data
for the student's profile will be required. The
questionnaire's draft will be created depending
on the information provided based on the
researcher's readings, past investigations,
professional literature, published and
unpublished work, unpublished thesis related to
the study. During the instrument's construction,
the prerequisites for creating a suitable data
gathering device will be taken into account.

STATISTICAL

Descriptive statistics will be

considered, including frequency
counts, means, percentages, and
ranks. If the two variables are
associated, it may be tested
using the Pearson Product Moment
Correlation Coefficient.

at La Concepcion College
 Research Design
In this study, the socio-demographic profiles of
some irregular students at La Concepcion College,
Inc. will be looked at through a descriptive
survey. Descriptive research is a methodical
process of gathering, analyzing, categorizing,
and tabulating information about current
conditions, practices, beliefs, processes,
trends, and cause-and-effect relationships. This
information is then properly and accurately
interpreted, with or without statistical
treatment.
 Sampling Technique
The researchers will choose the non-
probability sampling technique called
purposive or snowball sampling A non-
representative subset of a broader
population, a purposive sample is created
to meet a particular specific requirement
or function. Targeting a certain
population is the goal of purposive
sampling. Purposive sampling is a choice
when the target population for the study
is difficult to find and recruit for a
study.

 Research Instrument

A questionnaire checklist designed by the researcher

will be used to collect data. It will be necessary
to collect information for the student's profile.
The draft questionnaire will be produced based on
the information supplied by the researcher's
readings, previous investigations, professional
literature, published and unpublished work, and
unpublished thesis connected to the topic. The
conditions for building a good data collection
device will be considered during the instrument's
creation.
