Subject assigned : Corporate Finance (CF)
Practical Marks allocated : 20 marks.

Project Title: Analysing various topics of Corporate Finance.

1. Write about the company detailing its SWOT and financials. (attach financial
statements)
2. Draw the organisational chart and explain the departments or divisions managed by
the Finance Head.
3. Analyse the capital structure of the company and advice the company if it wants to raise
additional capital to an extent of 100% from existing capital by considering following
proposals:
i. Equity 100%, Debt 0%.
ii. Equity 50%, Debt 50%.
iii. Equity 75%, Debt 25%.
iv. Equity 0%, Debt 100%.
4. Calculate degree of leverages for the year 2021-2022.
5. Enumerate key financial ratios relating to dividend and working capital management.

Instructions for the students:

1. Each group must prepare report on the assigned company from Pharmaceuticals &
Drugs sector. (Refer list given on page 2 & 3)

2. Each group need to update the concerned faculty about the work progress and submit
the following reports.

Interim Report –March 25th, 2023

Final Report & Presentation – 10th April 2023
3. The reports shall be submitted to the faculty in soft copy form through MS Teams.

4. Each group shall select one group lead who will coordinate with the group members
while consolidating the report. The group lead should collect the work done by each
member and send the consolidated file (Final Report only) to the concerned faculty
through email in the form of word or excel or pdf.

5. The distribution of 20 marks will be as follows:

Interim Report – 10 marks

Final Report & Presentation – 10 marks
6. Evaluation will be done student-wise as per the topic assigned.
