Superstitions

Superstitions are illogical believing that people have about an object, a situation and
even an animal. This kind of people think if a certain action happens it will affect
them in some way. In Mexico, there’s a lot of superstitious people whose have many
weird thoughts so I'm going to mentionate a few that I know because I heard them
from my mother, aunts and other relatives.

One of the ones I hate the most: “black cats means bad luck”, the reason I hate this
superstition it’s because people hurt the poor animals just because of their color and
I can’t stand it.

Other ridiculous superstition that has to do with an animal, is that one that says:
“owls are witches”, owls have been affected by this irrational thought, they’re animals
whose have a very important role in the nature and that’s why we have to protect
them but there are some people who even kill them because of their stupid mindset.

Well, there are still plenty of superstitions to expose but these two in particular are
the two that annoy me the most. I can't simply understand why people believe these
lies. It's a shame, they should stop being ignorants and informate themselves about
the truth.
