Abstract
網路世界的發展,實體世界行為在網路世界中也可以進行,現在又從虛擬世界
回到實體空間,實體空間不只給人存在的價值,也包含了網路空間無法取代的社交
互動,場景的經驗等;再規劃地點空間相關研究時,往往必須於協同工作空間與實
體世界來回的討論、修改、體驗等。
本研究強調於協同平台空間與實體環境的連結,協同平台利用增廣實境來再現
虛擬資料,可觸知的協同界面,提供參與式、協同式設計,加入不可見的虛擬資訊
時,直覺性的操作與簡易修改並能即時在實體空間中體驗。另一方面,在實體空間
裡的收集的資訊能即時的傳輸至比例模型中相對位置,達成更有效率的協同環境。
People’s behavior in the physical world can carry on in the cyber world with network
development. Recently people devote to return to physical world from virtual space.
Physical world not only give the worth of existence but include social interaction and
location-awareness which the cyber space is unable to substitute.
We attempt to combine real world and collaborative work space. Collaborative
platform utilize augmented reality technology to represent virtual information. Using

1.1 Introduction
未來工作必定是團隊合作的,非一己之力能整合多方面學科,一項整合型的工
作,小組人員各方面的收集資料,將資料整理或數位化,在一同空間中相互討論,
解決問題、分享恰當的資訊提供決策參考,組織適當的資訊與工作流程強化工作的
運作,藉由協同工作提升溝通效率,就實體世界中協同討論的空間不外乎存在著一
張桌子,桌子在歷史地位上扮演了一個很重要的腳色,像是戰爭指揮中心(war
room)、規劃平台、家庭聚會的討論,它提供了一個場所讓人聚集並把所需要討論的
資訊放於桌面以供人拿取,而計算機的加入也使得這協同的桌子變得無限可能,改
變了原先的互動模式與環境,而這環境可能有著可觸碰的介面、多台電腦去處理資
訊與顯示或投影於桌面、有著多個垂直的大螢幕圍繞著讓使用者能更輕鬆的工作。
地點相關研究的設計前,經由比例模型或是地圖來協同討論並瞭解整個環境的
狀態,進而規劃空間、加入需求,本研究要將電腦所產生的虛擬資訊疊合在比例模
型中,因此增廣實境技術可以帶給使用者強烈的空間感以及更彈性的設定,希望利
用桌面電腦輔助合作平台達到輕鬆、更有效率的協同工作。
傳統的地點相關協同合作系統,透過小尺寸的模型能在其周圍共同討論,透過
全觀視野的地圖或區域去安排、組織其工作,討論與執行的空間與時間不相同,一
個工作的規劃,透過討論之後再實地測試與觀察使用情形後,修改需移至討論空間,
本研究希望透過增廣實境的視覺化再現,增強視覺化讓使用者空間概念更具體,
透過這點討論空間可以輕易的安排任務、附加資訊於比例模型上,加上討論平台與
實體空間的對應連接,讓在實體環境中的使用者可以即時、直接的感受協同平台所
增加的資訊。另一方面,在實體環境中的使用者也可以藉由行動裝置去收集真實資
料(人對地點的感受、觀察人群動向、地點社群關係、地點相關資訊等),傳送至討論
平台。
下一章節我們將介紹目前的協同合作系統與地點相關的研究,第二 將更詳細
的說明本研究的概念,接著介紹系統架構與使用情節,第四節中說明目前完成的兩
個prototype,與之間的缺失,最後將為本篇文章的結論。
2 Motivation
目前許多協同工作的平台,是提供給都市規劃、建築構造,強調人與協同桌面
的互動,消除人對於平台的摩差力,
2.1 Background (Previous work & related work)
在電腦輔助合作工作(Computer Supported Cooperative Work)中,電腦軟體
系統提供一個資源共享環境的介面,以支援群體成員從事同一項工作,支援組織的
成員,進行溝通(communication)、合作(collaboration)及協調(coordination)等
活動,使得協同團體的工作能順利進行,並藉由電腦系統的輔助來提昇組織效率。
1) Computer support cooperative work
[][][][][]都提出桌面為系統介面,成為一個協同的空間,電算機的加入,
加強於人機互動,使得這協同桌面變得無限可能,像是可以粒度、可分層次觀看、
視覺化的暗示討論者的注意力、模擬、提供可以安排、組織資訊,不必像紙張或材料
(material)雜亂無序擺至桌面,[]一個沉浸式的工作環境,提出了可單方面的將資
料傳輸至協同桌面上供討論者使用的概念,系統資訊不只是設計系統時以設定的。
2) Tangible augmented reality interface (可觸知的增廣時境介面)
透過可觸知的實體物件連結虛擬世界[],簡易的操作,簡單的 affordance 設計
讓使用者更直覺性的操作,目的在於系統之外更重要的討論者與討論者之間的互動,
[][]皆提出了這方面的系統。
3) Location relative work (@)
在這些協同平台研究中,地點相關的研究,特定的資訊必須在放置於實體世界
中才有變得有意義,放置正確的地點就相對的變得很重要,[]必需透過實地的經驗、
對於週遭環境的感受進而利用行動裝置將這些資訊紀錄在這地點上,…
Design principles
以下將介紹本研究系統的一些元素(element )
Connecting physical world
針對地點相關的研究,參與者觀看協同空間的比例模型能以全觀、整體的市也
看清區域的狀態,但他所不足的是它不能提供更詳細或是必需要到實體環境中才能
感受的情境,這兩方面應該連結並相互的對應。
Use scale model
本研究強調使用實體的比例模型,它提供給參與者更強大的空間感,不只是平
面電子地圖,利用3D實體模型讓參與者更清楚這區域的整體結構,進而早期發現空
間規劃上的優缺點。
Use real-time
立即的溝通在協同平台與實體世界,設計者,規畫者往往在協同平台討論,擬
定計畫,至實體空間中安排媒體,體驗安排好的內容,體驗、測試一發現內容與環
境不合,必須經過一段時間再至協同環境中進行修改,事後又必須在實體世界中進
行第二階段的測試,如此反覆的在這兩個空間中進行研究,時間一久難免會將必須
做的事情遺漏掉,即時連結這兩空間,不僅可以增加工作的效率也能將實體空間中
做正確、最完整的帶到規劃者手中。
4.系統架構
(1) 協同工作平台 ( in the collaborative space)
協同工作空間主要提供讓設計者、討論者、能面對面的直接討論,並提供一個鳥
瞰式的地圖或區域,讓使用者能很清楚的了解所要研究的區域的全觀,利用這
項優點去全盤掌握局面並將虛擬資訊(virtual information)加入平台之中,
(for example text message audio video or graph picture etc..)讓討論者
相互的討論並決策。可觸知增廣實境介面能讓使用者能直覺性的操作實體世界
中我們所熟析使用的物件,藉由如此並能輕易的控制虛擬物件。
(3) 系統架構
本研究的系統架構,協同空間方面使用比例模型,AR tangible interface 讓
參與者能藉由手中 marker 的操作來增加虛擬資訊,透過投影機投影於桌面上給
參與者看到虛擬資訊,在實體空間的參與者手持 GPS 的 PDA 藉由無線網路將使
用者所記錄的資料傳輸至 web server,透過 GPS 與比例模型的定位,將實體空
間傳回的資訊顯在正確的位址上在比例模型中,(如圖)
The Prototype

本研究目前的兩個系統
(1) Mixed Reality Platform for Mobile Service Design in Urban Planning
傳統的都市計畫尚未因應這在城市中不可見的網路層(invisible network
layer)提出規劃以及方法。無線網路影響的不只是生活還有隨之而來的:無所不在
的計算(ubiquitous computing)、鄰近觸發式互動(proximity-triggered
interaction)、空間發佈(spatial publishing)、標籤媒體設計(tagged media
design)這些問題都是所要面臨解決的。
這協同合作系統提供一個介面,讓人參與、協同、設計,將行動服務設計視覺化
空間化以及標籤化,能有效地設計未來空間規劃的各種服務。
而比例模型很重要的提供討論者能以全觀視野(global view)的分析這區域,
在放置虛擬資訊地點方面能做出正確的決定,不會有兩個或多個擠在同一區域,造
成不均勻的情況很容易的解決這問題。
協同工作強調在於多人討論,若此系統能在設計位置前,連結協同工作空間與
實體空間,規劃者能輕鬆、更完整的設計此系統。
Future work and Conclusion
在這兩個 Prototype 完成後,我們了解兩方面的不足,透過整合讓協同環境與實
體世界的結合進而解決這問題,在將來的工作上我們致力於將系統建構完整並討論
使用者使用系統的情形,在發展更好的互動模式。
