1. Describe Japan in your own word.
Japan is a common country in which its capital is Tokyo. In Japan, you will see cherry
blossoms and their language spoken is Japanese.

2. What are the most famous cuisines in Japan?

The most famous food cuisines in

Japan are sushi and sashimi,
tempura, chicken katsu, ramen, curry,
okonomiyaki and takoyaki, shabu
shabu, some soups like miso,
skewers or yakitori, onigiri, gyoza or
dumplings and many more.

3. What are the cuisines of Japan that are now available in the Philippines?
The following cuisine of Japan that can be found in Philippines are their famous ramen or
yakisoba, chicken teriyaki, sushi and sashimi, tempura, the miso soup or sinigang in
Philippines and chicken katsu or chicken cutlet and many more dishes. Also takoyaki and
some green tea and macha desserts.

4. Where Japan is famous for in terms of traditions and culture?

Japan is famous for different kind Japanese foods, television programs like anime or
manga. They are also famous in some celebrations like the New Year’s day in which
Japanese people visit a shrine after the midnight of Dec 31. In order to make a wish, also
in cherry blossom celebration which happen during the month of April, which they are
having a picnic under the tree. They also celebrate Obon Holiday which happen in month
of August, some Japanese people visit their hometown to commemorate the spirit of
those who passed away. There are also two dominant religions in Japan: the Shinto and
Buddhism. They are also famous for martial arts, tea, sumo wrestling, and musical
instruments. Lastly, Origami is famous well known cultural activities of Japan, many
people try this activity as their personal hobby to create art.
