Are video games a great source of learning? Well, this is what many are asking today and it
tends to be a problem for many parents. However, video games have contributed a lot
throughout history, from helping to learn another language to making friends.

Video games for the most part follow a story and time sequence. This is what specifically
appeals to people, especially children. Children are always looking to expand their imagination
and many games help them do this. Some talk about history, others about wars, and many about
imaginary worlds of chocolates and candies, and children begin to write and integrate additional
elements into these stories.

Likewise, the graphics that video games have, are incredible. Many children, when they see
drawings or scenarios so well done, seek to recreate and paint them. There are some games
where children have to search, plan and try to solve puzzles to move to the next level.

In a nutshell, video games are a fun way to encourage children to look for new ideas, new
scenarios, and new skills to learn.
