To Whom It May Concern:

Mr. Ben German has requested I write a letter in support of him receiving a special education teaching
position. This is a task I consider both a joy and a privilege. I have the pleasure of knowing Ben as a student
in the Special Education Program and as an advisee. During this time, I have found him to be respectful,
dedicated, and personable. Being conscientious and timely are some of Ben’s other strengths.

As a student, Ben displays a strong work ethic. He has consistently did well throughout his program. His
lessons and activities for his clinical field placements are engaging and motivating. He strives to make his
lessons meaningful for students. He does an amazing job integrating technology into lessons. Ben has also
shown wonderful connections with students supporting them on the social-emotional level.

As a leader, Ben is an individual who takes on initiatives and is not afraid to take on challenges. He is a
student who consistently participates and volunteers in class. He is also willing to take on challenges.
Whether it is in the classroom, on campus, or on the basketball court, he leads by example and makes
everyone around him a better person.

It is without reservation that I recommend Mr. Ben German for a teaching position. He will be an asset to
your school district.

Sincerely,

Dr. Carrie Mitchell
