Instructions to take LUMS SBASSE Scientific Aptitude Test

Read the following very carefully:

NON-COMPLIANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN DISMISSAL/DISQUALIFICATION

• Test takers MUST wear a Face Mask in the Testing premises. The Face mask should cover your
nose and mouth and secure it under your chin.
• Test takers MUST use hand sanitizer before entering the Test Center.
• Test takers MUST stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from other people in the Testing
premises.
• Download and print your LUMS SBASSE Scientific Aptitude Test Registration Slip before
the test.
• Bring your
1. Signed Admission Test Registration Slip; &
2. Valid Original Passport/ Valid Original National Identity Card (NIC)/ Original
Smart Card to the test center. You will not be allowed to take the test without these
documents.
• Test takers are required to report at the test center no later than 12:30 PM as it will take some
time for the Test Registration.
• The exam will begin at 02:00 PM.
• The duration of the test is 45 minutes.
• Mobile phones, calculators, books, scratch paper or any other testing aid is not allowed to the
test center.
• The admission test typically consists of multiple-choice questions.
• Do not make noise or talk to another examinee (s) inside the test center.
• Eating or drinking is strictly prohibited in the test center. Do not bring eatables to the test center.
• Applicants, once entered the Testing room, cannot leave without the announcement/permission
of the exam supervisor.
• Do NOT bring stationery. LUMS will provide stationery to all applicants taking the Admission
Test.
• Only test takers are allowed to enter the test premises.
• Applicants who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified at the LUMS website
should not take the test.
• Scores of the LUMS SBASSE Scientific Aptitude Test will not be announced.
• Any requests for a test fee refund/change of Test center or any other change related to Test
registration will not be entertained.
INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE TEST BOOK & ANSWER SHEET
USE LEAD PENCIL ONLY
Test Book
• Do not break the seal of the test book before the test begins.
• Do not remove or fold any page from the test book.
• Do not take test book or answer sheet out of examination hall.
• Do not glance at someone else’s paper. Defaulters will be disqualified immediately.
• Do not use any unauthorized testing aid.
• Read the instructions carefully given on the test book.
• Carefully fill out the required information on the front cover of the test book.
• Copy the Test ID from the Test Registration Slip on the front cover of your test book
(written on the right of the Test Registration Slip)

Answer Sheet
• On the test day, upon receiving your answer sheet, please ensure that your name, date of
birth, test ID and all other information is correctly printed. If you find any mistake, inform
your supervisor immediately.
• Applicants should carefully copy the Test Book code (given at the back cover of the test book)
on the answer sheet.
• Rough work is only allowed on the space available in the Test Book.
• Indicate all answers only on the answer sheet. You may do rough work on the test book, but
NO credit will be given for the ANSWERS RECORDED IN THE TEST BOOK.
• While marking the Answer Sheet, please make sure that each mark is DARK and completely
fills the circle. Mark only one answer to each question. If you need to change an answer,
please be sure that all previous marks are erased completely. Incomplete erasure may be read
as an intended response.

• Candidates are required to follow the testing procedure/instructions given in this form as
well as by the Exam Supervisor to maintain discipline. In case of failure, Supervisor has
the authority to cancel the test and disqualify the candidate.
