When it comes to learning phonics, as you
already know, some students need to see it
and say it many more times than others in
order to remember!

Repetition is necessary for all students, but


for some it is crucial in order for them to
truly understand and apply the sound
spelling in their reading and writing.

It has been a frustration of mine and I


decided to finally sit down and create a
complete set to use throughout the year
with my students.

This is the poster set of long vowels, vowel


teams, r-controlled, and word endings.

These posters are used as we learn new


sounds. Post them on a guided reading
anchor wall and/or place them in a binder or
booklet for students to reference daily.
