“Good urban design is meant to serve every New Yorker by reinforcing their neighborhood's unique
sense of place, by supporting ease of movement around their city and an accessible public realm, by caring
about the details that – combined together – make up the city, and by ensuring that public spaces are
comfortable, welcoming, and feel safe to all.” Life has always been difficult, and witnessing excellent
architecture may assist relax our minds and release our spirits from the hectic day-to-day life. Better
designed neighborhoods will benefit not just the community as a whole, but also the people who live there.
People in metropolitan regions, such as BGC Taguig, have had a challenging yet rewarding experience
since they have access to daily life commodities and services that a community may utilize on a regular
basis, but it is not for everyone. BGC Taguig has a plan, but it is not for everyone because its just benefits
the wealthy but not the poor. It is a prime example of why I wanted to be an Architect someday.
As defined, Urban design is concerned with the layout, appearance, and functionality of towns and
cities, specifically the shaping and use of urban public space. It has traditionally been regarded as a subset
of urban planning, landscape architecture, or architecture, and has recently been linked to emerging
disciplines such as landscape urbanism. However, with its growing importance in the activities of these
disciplines, it is better conceptualized as a design practice that operates at the intersection of all three and
necessitates a thorough understanding of a variety of others, including real estate development, urban
economics, political economy, and social theory. While, Community Planning attempts to increase the
relationship between all levels of government and wider society work by collaborating to produce better
outcomes for everybody. Long-term goals for enhancing the social, economic, and environmental well-
on both the community development process and the community itself. They could even be contributing to
the issues being addressed, or they could be the root of the problem. In many cases, the influence these
factors have on a community's ability to succeed or fail in the community development process can be
significant. By far one of the most essential parts of community development is the human elements of a
community. Communities are built on the people so communities would not exist without them and the
geographical location and environment in which a community exists will always have an influence on the
activities that the group as a whole does. The physical location of the community will have advantages and
disadvantages, and not all of them will be controllable. On a global scale, geography is a key factor in
almost everything. Environmental and geographic elements associated to a certain region have frequently
been important contributors to the amount of development that happens there throughout history. Those
variables inherent in a community, whether controlled or not, will frequently have an influence on the growth
As a young architecture student, I’ve always dreamt of designing a community that was beneficial
for all. From the innovative ideas I put to the smallest design I will include; I really want it to help not just the
society but also the people of the community and also a place that will serve as their safe haven with
inclusivity because for me, better design comes from the ways of people but not in the eyes.
