II. Course overview


1. Course description
Listening - Speaking 6 is a foundation subject in the bachelor's degree program in English at university level and is also the last level of the 6
levels of Listening - Speaking of the program, studied in the 3rd semester of the second year for mainstream and distance program. In Listening
and Speaking 6, students can communicate in spoken language at an advanced level. The course introduces learners to listening and speaking
topics with in-depth academic and scientific content. The level of students after completing the course will be equivalent to Level 5 according to
the 6-level foreign language competency framework applied in Vietnam (equivalent to Level C1 according to the CEFR European Framework of
Reference).

9. Course policys:
● Tasks: Students must finish all the online assignments on the IQ practice
website at the end of week 10. Students must be present at the midterm listening
test and speaking test.
● Attendance: Students are not allowed to be off more than 3 classes/ 10 classes
without any proper reasons.
● Dismissal: If students are off more than 3 classes/ 10 classes with any proper
reasons, lecturer can mark 0 point for the midterm speaking test and dismiss the
final speaking test of that student.
● In-class disciplines: Students must bring the coursebook whenever coming to
the class.
