Insurance Awareness Campaign at Ernakulam

Ernakulam Insurance Institute conducted an Insurance awareness program exclusively for the
Commerce students of St.Peters College, Kolenchery, Ernakulam District under Mahatma
Gandhi University on 19.08.2015.

Dr.Reji M.A., Associate Professor & Research Guide, St.Peters College welcomed the
gathering and congratulated our Institute for making efforts to spread the message of
Insurance among students of schools and colleges.

Sri.E.P.Joy,Council Member,III, and Sri.T.K.Sadasivan, National Insurance Co.Ltd(Retd)

explained the basics of Life and Non Life Insurance in detail to the students. He also narrated
the various career options available in the field of Insurance. Courses offered by Insurance
Institute of India were briefed to them.

An interactive session was organised after the classes, which had an active participation from
all the students.

Printed materials supplied by Insurance Institute of India were handed over to the students.

The program had a participation of 130 students and faculty members.

The programme was an eye opener for students as they derived a general idea on the
concept of Insurance and its necessity in their lives. Many of them expressed their desire to
pursue our Institute’s courses along with their under graduate/professional studies in future.
