Weekly Bible Study Groups:

Becoming involved in a Bible study group is so beneficial to our spiritual growth. Not only do we benefit by encountering God through his taught word, we are also blessed as we converse and interact with others. To this end, we provide several weekly Bible studies, which are open to all, several times a week.
Reform - Adult Sunday School Class: The goal of this Sunday morning class is to experience the transforming power of Gods Word as it reforms our hearts & minds for the glory of God. Reform meets on Sundays @ 11:00am. This class is open to all and you can join us anytime. Tuesday Morning Bible Study: Join Pastor Randy every Tuesday morning for a class on church history. This wonderful class and Bible study is open to all. Wednesday Night Bible Study: Our Wednesday night Bible studies (see below) begin at 7pm and end at 8:30pm. These conversational and in-depth Bible studies are meant to inform our minds and strengthen our faith. Our Student Ministry youth groups and Childrens Ministry meet during the same time. Theology on Tap: Theology on Tap meets every Wednesday (9pm) at Your Pizza Shop - 1200 8th Ave SW Largo, FL - to discuss Christian theology, culture, and missional living. The discussion topic for each week is posted on the Theology on Tap Facebook Page. There are also various Bible study groups for our men, ladies, sr. high girls, sr. high guys, and married couples. Our next Phaino: An Evening of Worship which will be on Sept. 4th. Phaino comes from the Greek word which means to shine, or to give light, or to bring light. Every Phaino has its own theme and its own distinct worship experience geared to challenged us to phaino (shine) forth the Gospel of Christ as we share and show the love of God to those around us. Our theme for Sunday, September 4th is Tear Down the Walls. We hope to have you and your family joins us from 6pm to 7:30pm. Children are encouraged to come and participate with their parents.

Pack-A-Sack Pack-A-Sack is a ministry to help feed disadvantaged children (from Mildred Helms Elementary School, in our local area) over the weekend. These children receive meals from their school during the week; but the schools social worker pinpoints the children who frequently don't have food over the weekend and the sacks, full of about 12 to 14 healthy snacks, are designated for them. So, throughout the school year, we need prepackaged snacks healthy snacks are always preferred. The snacks must be sealed and ready to eat. (No cooking or preparing required.) We are providing snacks weekly for 25+ children this year. Pinellas Hope Dinner Outreach Oct. 2nd Pinellas Hope is a temporary shelter for homeless men and women. The residents may sleep undisturbed, take a shower, have a place to keep their personal belongings, and have 3 meals of day. On Oct. 2nd, well be purchasing, preparing, transporting, and serving dinner for over 200 residents. This is a wonderful opportunity to show the love of Christ to those less fortunate and in need of some encouragement and support. We are in need of some more help with our Sunday morning and Wednesday night childrens ministry. We minister to children from babies all the way up to 4th grade! Each week it seems like more and more children are coming. This is terrific! But we also need additional help from our church family. If you are interested in helping please let Pastor Heath know. Here are several great reasons to get involved in the Childrens Ministry:

Many of the children from the neighborhood around our church come on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Helping in a classroom or nursery is wonderful opportunity for our church to reach out. Serving in the Childrens Ministry is a great way to meet new people at church and become better connected to the ministry and heartbeat of the church. Loving and serving children is close to the heart to of God (Matthew 19:14). God is just as concerned for the welfare and Christian growth of our young children as he is adults. Getting involved in the classrooms and/or nurseries is a special way to display Gods love to others.
