Summary of the OJT Experience

I am Emma Cly P. Infante , a third year student taking Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering. As I make my way to 4th year student in college, I am required to undergo On-
the-job training to accomplished my 3 rd year journey as a student. I held my training at Spes
Construction Inc. at Cybergate 2 Robinsons Mandalagan, Bacolod City. Spes Construction Inc.
Is one of the most large construction Company in Manila.

I started my On-the-Job training on July 14,2022 supervised by Arch. Kaye Bandojo

and Engr. Renato Guiterrez a Field Engineer of the Company and assigned in Ground Floor
and in Exterior Design to monitor the construction workers in their specific job and their
subcons. It is my very first time doing site visit and it is very exciting for me. On our 1 st week
at the company we just observed on the site watching in every workers of what they’re
doing and doing walk thru with Engineer Raymon Parlo together with the Safety Officer. I
was amazed in every engineer in the company because they are willing to teach us and
answers our each questions so that we can acquire knowledge from them. They keep on
asking us if we have any questions so that they can answer and share their ideas to us.

We students are very blessed that they strive to make the Actual On-the-Job training
possible for us students to learn in the working environment and to face the real world for
having a job is not that easy it requires a lot of knowledge, skills, time, ideas and effort. I can
say that I gained knowledge during our training on site and also how to solve some solving
problems because sir raymond taught us.

As I graduated in college I am prepared to face the real world someday. So after taking
this training I am confidently sure that this can help me for my future job. I know 240 hrs is
not enough to gain all the knowledge is civil industry but I am ready to face the real world
willing to learn and to be knowledgeable and to be flexible that I can do all things.
