1. Why is there a need to learn BALLROOM dance in physical education class?


➢ Balance, flexibility, and coordination are all improved by ballroom dancing. As you
learn to ballroom dance, your body will stretch and flex in a variety of ways, all of which
will help to strengthen your core and improve your balance. Ballroom dancing is a
perfect place to unwind and enhance your overall health.

2. Give at least 3 benefits a student will get in learning Ballroom.


➢ Ballroom dancing improves your balance, flexibility, and coordination.
➢ Your body will stretch and bend in various ways as you learn to ballroom dance, all of
which will assist to strengthen your core and enhance your balance.
➢ Ballroom dancing is a wonderful way to relieve stress and improve your overall health.

3. Explain the importance of Ballroom dance in maintaining a healthy life.


➢ The enjoyment that ballroom dancing provides cannot be understated. Dancing can be a
good method to get the blood circulating for people who do not enjoy traditional
workouts. Even if you simply dance for one song, ballroom requires you to engage your
entire body for at least three to five minutes. As your skill level improves, you'll notice
that you have more endurance in other areas of your life.

4. Why is Ballroom a very good form of exercise?


➢ Ballroom dancing is just a low-impact aerobic activity that can help you lose weight and
speed up your metabolism. You may burn 200-400 calories in thirty minutes of dancing,
which really is nearly the same as running or cycling. Dance training is also a great way
to keep in shape and maintain your health. You're gaining these benefits without feeling
as if you're working out since ballroom dancing is so much fun.
