• The Entry fee will be Rs. 8000.00 per team (consisting of maximum ten players).
• Cheque shall be in the name of (P.M.D.T.A) Pune Metropolitan District Tennis
Association or you can also Gpay to 9657828167 (Naresh).
• All the team should follow the rules as stated in this form. The PMDTA
appointedofficials will be the final authority during the matches. Club can
register their complain or protest, and submit the same to the Tournament
Director, who will give the final decision.

• No change of timings request unless opponents accept, organiser have a right


tochange the tie timings due to unforeseen circumstances.
• All the matches will be played at PYC as per the schedule made by
the organisers.
• All the matches will be played from Sunday 12th march and will be
played on Weekdays in the morning from 7:30 am to 10:00 am and in the
evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Matches will be played on Saturday
and Sunday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and in the evening from 4:00 pm to
10:00 pm.

The tournament will be played in 2 Divisions Plate & Elite Division. After receiving the
entries four (4) teams will directly Qualify in the Elite division and rest of the teams will
play in the Plate division. Number of teams that will qualify in the Elite division will be
declared after receiving the entries.

Tournament Rules

1. Entrance fee per team is Rs. 8000.00 per team. The team will consist
maximum of ten players. The team is allowed to enrol new members for each
new tie, however number of players is restricted to ten players per team and
all team members have to be played prior to the Knock out matches in the
Plate & Elite Division.

2. Players (Men and Ladies) who are having AITA / ITF ranking points in last
5years will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.

3. A player below 30 years will not be allowed to play from any club.

4. Veteran ranking players will be allowed to play the tournament.

5. All Clubs who played last year in this league will be allowed to play
thisyear as well.

6. All the clubs, Corporate teams, Academies will be allowed to participate.


TheClubs, Corporates, Academies can enter more than one team.

7. Once a player plays for one team, he will not be allowed to play for any
otherteam or club for this tournament, during the tournament .

The team of the clubs, Corporate, associates etc. will consist of only
doublesteam as described below: -

• FOR ELITE DIVISION

A) Doubles Team of combined age of 110 years


B) Doubles Team of combined age of 100 years
C) Doubles Team of combined age of 90 years
D) Open Doubles Team

• FOR PLATE DIVISION

A) Doubles Team of combined age of 100 years


B) Doubles Team of combined age of 90 years
C) Open Doubles Team
D) Open Doubles Team

Note: After qualifying in Elite Division all Plate teams have to Play with
Doubles Team combined ages of 110 years,100 years,90 years and one
Open Doubles Team.

E) Players who are eligible as per rule no 2 & 3 will be allowed to play
in category C and D (Open Doubles) only for Plate Division. In the Elite
Division teams are requested to field separate players in each group,
No player is allowed to play in two categories.
F) In case a lady member is selected to play in category A) and or in B),
theage criteria for that Doubles team will not be applicable, However the
criteria of AITA points will be applicable.
(Lady Member below 35 years will not be allowed to participate).
In case a lady member is fielded to play in category A) then her partner
should be above 55 years and in B) partner should be 50 and above.

In the plate category tournament only a Coach or a Marker representing a


team will have to partner another club member from his team. He will not
be allowed to partner another coach or a marker in the plate division only.

12) All matches will be played BEST OF 11 GAMES with TIE BREAKER at 5
all,for Deuce NO ADD system will be followed. For Duce the receiver will
decide, regarding the choice of court, to receive the service.
13) Winner of the tie will be decided on the number of games won by the club.
14)In case of a tie, any 2 players from the same tie will play a doubles SUPER TIE
BREAKER. The winner of the Super Tiebreak will be the winner of the Tie and it
willbe considered as 1 game.
15) The Total Prize Money for the tournament is INR Rs 50,000/-
16)The Winner & Runner Up Team of the Elite Division will get a chance to
participate in the Inter Club Tournament State Championship

Last date of submitting the entry is 9th March 2023 till 7.00 PM at PYC
Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

All teams participating must pay their entry fee before the tournament starts
along with entry form duly filled.

Matches will start from Sunday, 12th March 2023.
