Living in a city is better than living in the countryside

Nowadays this topic has been the subject of many debates in different associations, it all
started since the city started to been connected and have been supplied with a loads of
services as water, electricity, internet, metro, drainage, well paved roads and so on, and the
countryside was relegated from many services.

Starting with their public transport that can take you wherever you want, in few minutes
depending on where you want to go. The metro, since their foundation in 1969, has been
growing with different stations that covers over the 80% of the whole Mexico City, keeping
in mind that this metro is one of the cheapest in the whole world, besides this is one of the
most well organized too. Even if you dont want to take the metro, you could also take
metrobus which is another way of commute in this city, which covers areas where the
metro cannot, so this could work for many people too if they live far from the underground
station, we also have buses, cable cars, cabs, etc. The public transport of Mexico city not
only offers many ways of commute in the city but also is one of the best well- connected.
The whole system of Mexico have been awarded by the “Calypso Awards” during 2022,
this one was related with the integration of the whole public transport in only one card, and
many contactless payment in different underground and metrobus stations.

Taking aside the public transport, here in the city if you want to enhance your professional
development you can do it, in any field you can imagine. For instance, in medicine here we
have many healthcare institutions such as National Health Institute of Cardiology,
Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, genetics, pneumology, neurology, Salvador Zubiran, all those
institutes offers the highest quality of care for the patient and not only they take care of the
patients but also they also provide important breakthroughs in medicine as well. And
medicine is one of many examples that I can give.

On the other hand here we have problems of pollution in air, sound and water, also many
times during the year we have to stop to use our cars depending the day, the traffic jams are
one of the worse things we could cope with and places where there are not trees the
temperature can hit more than 30° degrees, the litter on the streets, etc. This is a city where
always is in constant movement, therefore, we tend to be stressed all the time. In
comparison with the countryside maybe you can solve all those things and maybe live
better, but always depend on which type of life style you want to live.
