• Academic stress is distress for some anticipated frustration


associated with academic failure.

• Too much stress can be harmful so that, it may have a negative


effect on the functioning mind and learnings of students.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
1. What are the stressful situations that Grade 12 Senior High
students encounter?

2. How do Grade 12 Senior High students cope up with their


stress in their academic problems?

3. What are the negative effects of academic stress to Grade 12


Senior High students?

ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS
There is no significant difference between the stress levels of
Senior High School students on the Academic Stress Scale base
on gender.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION


This study will no longer cover different problems that are not
consider as one of the stressors.

PROCEDURE
Conduct the survey with the target category of
students

Total of 50 Grade 12 students

RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS
H1: Experiencing stress reduces our overall academic
achievement and can lead to increased dropout rates.

H2: Students who create coping strategies for their stress can
reduce the negative effects on their learning and
performance.

H3: There is significant mean difference between male and


female students on the Academic Stress Scale.
